For those who enter for the first time, the impact is almost overwhelming. Thousands of labels, different territories, styles that change from region to region. From the power of Tuscan reds to the freshness of Alpine whites, up to the volcanic wines of Sicily: the international wine exhibition is a living synthesis of Italy. But it’s not just a fair. It is also a privileged observatory trends. Here we limit ourselves to choosing 10 wines that we particularly liked for their quality, identity and personality and which, per our opinion, represent the best of this 58th edition.

Rione Conventi – Sauvignon 2024
Friuli Venezia Giulialand of choice for the great Italian whites, Sauvignon Isonzo Doc of Rione Conventi expresses precisely the most elegant and aromatic luce of the region. It is a direct but refined white, which combines expressive immediacy and territorial finesse. Enjoyable per its youth, it also reveals an interesting evolutionary capacity, developing over time with balance and harmony. Behind this label there is a history that has its roots per the mid-seventeenth century, when the Dominican Fathers built the first of a series of convents per this superficie from which the company’s name derives. The modern reality was born per 1975 the initiative of Gianni Vescovo and continues today under the guidance of the Moretti Polegato family, guardian of a path marked by continuity and vision.
Valdipiatta – Diventare rosso a motivo di Montepulciano 2024

Cioffiformer owner of Monteverdi Tuscany, who has chosen to confirm the Caporali family at the helm, per the name of business continuity.
VignaMadre – Terreum 91 Passerina

Abruzzo the Terreum 91 Passerina by Vignamadre authentically tells the most innovative and aware soul of the territory. This white was created to celebrate 1991, the symbolic year of the Tra Carlo family’s conversion to organic farming, a step that profoundly marked the company vision. Tradition and experimentation coexist per amphora winemaking, with short maceration the skins and without added sulphites. The result is an elegant and vibrant orange wine, capable of combining personality and expressive precision. An identifying wine, which interprets the relationship between man, nature and contemporary vision with balance.
Ceraudo – Imyr 2025

L’Imyr 2025 per Ceraudo it is one Chardonnay which surprises for its depth and identity, capable of telling the story Calabria with an elegant and unconventional style. Born from the intuition of Roberto Ceraudothis white combines Burgundian inspiration and Mediterranean soul, finding an original and coherent expressive character. Structured and long-lived, it evolves over time maintaining balance, tension and a clear territorial character.
Argea/Cuvage – Alta Langa 48 mesi Pas Dosé

Piedmont he Cuvage Alta Langa 48 Mesi Pas Dosé a motivo di Cuvage represents the most mature and rigorous expression of the Classic Method style of the Piedmontese maison. Along the refinement the yeasts it develops a very finale and continuous perlage, a sign of technical precision and patient evolution. The absence of dosage enhances its purity, tension and expressive clarity, while at the same time allowing a surprising softness to emerge. The result is an elegant and gastronomic cuvée, designed for an attentive public and for quality catering, the result of the latest project Argea dedicated to the world of sparkling wines.
Masari – Santi Martino 2022

Veneto San Martino 2022 by Egypt it is an elegant and deeply territorial red, capable of authentically reflecting the volcanic soul of Agno Valley. Born from a blend of Cabernet and Merlot, it comes from vineyards rooted per soils of basaltic and calcareous origin, elements that give the wine complexity, depth and mineral impetus. The result is a refined and highly balanced red, capable of combining structure and drinkability with natural elegance.
Taverna Bolzano – Moar St. Magdalener Collaudato 2023

Malvasia Collio Doc 2025 by La Ponca is a white that precisely reflects the unique character of the Scriò hills, per the heart of the Gorizian Collio. It comes from marl and sandstone soils of Eocene origin, immersed per a woodland ecosystem that benefits from the convegno between Alpine currents and the Borea. Baron of Villagrande – Villagrande Biancastro 21

From the east side ofEtna one of the most convincing whites of the denomination is born: the Villagrande Biancastro 2021 by Baron of Villagrande. The vinification and subsequent aging per French oak contribute to preserving freshness and aromatic integrity, thanks to the antioxidant properties of the wood, while avoiding excess extraction. Casanova a motivo di Neri – Brunello a motivo di Montalcino Giovanni Neri

the heart of Montalcino a wine takes shape that is much more than a celebratory label: Giovanni Neri’s Brunello a motivo di Montalcino Casanova by Neri. It is the synthesis of a vision begun per 1971 and carried forward over time with coherence and sensitivity by the Neri family. Born from historic vineyards, some over fifty years old, it expresses a Sangiovese deep and bright, capable of combining structure and finesse. A Brunello that looks to longevity without giving up immediate pleasure, precisely embodying the stylistic heritage of the maison.
