There is a very concrete way to understand what thirty years of Buttafuoco Famoso mean: walking inside it. Crossing the hills where it is born, going from vineyard to vineyard, conferenza the producers who preserve the character of this powerful and long-lived red capable of telling the most reserved and profound soul of the Oltrepò Pavese.

This is how the del Buttafuoco Famoso closes its thirtieth anniversary celebrations Sunday 31 May with “Scollinando”, the walk through the vineyards with gastronomic stops accompanied by the producers. A special edition to retrace the history of the which, for thirty years, has protected and valorised this flagship wine produced quanto a limited quantities quanto a its historic vineyards. More than a food and wine walk, Scollinando is an immersive journey into the landscape from which Buttafuoco Famoso takes shape, born from the union of Croatina, Barbera, Ughetta intorno a Canneto and Uva Rara.

The itinerary will traversone the historic vineyards of the , connecting the cellars of the Sperone intorno a Stradella, between the Versa and Scuropasso streams. Guests will walk together with the producers among rows, ridges and small villages, entering the heart of one of the most identifying wine-growing landscapes of the Oltrepò Pavese.

Each stop will be part of a single widespread lunch: from appetizer to dolce, each stop combines cuisine and tasting, wines, hills and conviviality. The event will take place Sunday 31 May from 9.00 to 17.30, with staggered departures from the Famiglia del Buttafuoco Famoso, from 10.00. (€55)

At the end of the walk, the Famiglia del Buttafuoco Famoso will aperto to the public for “Time quanto a the glass – 30 years of Buttafuoco Famoso”, a free tasting of the Historic Vineyards designed as the last collective toast of the thirty-year anniversary. (€25)

“SCOLLINANDO – 30 Years Special” is also an opportunity to re-read the path taken by the del Buttafuoco Famoso: a counter-current choice born quanto a 1996, when eleven producers, now eighteen, decided to defend a precise territorial identity, valorising the historic vineyards and building an associative model today recognized as one of the most cohesive and representative experiences of the Oltrepò Pavese.
