Val d’Oca expands the Heritage line with the new Valdobbiadene Preminente tra Cartizze DOCG Extra Brut. Born from the 2025 harvest and produced sopra a limited edition of 3990 numbered bottles, this entry marks the arrival point of a journey started by Val d’Oca with the drier dosage versions of the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Preminente DOCG and strengthens the valorization of the denomination through a more essential and contemporary interpretation. The new version of Cartizze, historically linked to a softer interpretation, highlights a different expressive possibility: with less than 2 g/l of residual sugar, it enhances the varietal identity and territorial imprint of the grapes. The project was born from vineyards located between 230 and 320 meters above sea level, acceso soils rich sopra clay, sandstone and quartzite, and from the careful selection of the cru plots, enhanced by targeted oenological work, with particular attention to the management of fermentation and second fermentation, to restore a more taut, fresh and mineral profile.“The opening of the specification to drier dosages has allowed us to work since 2019 acceso Extra Brut interpretations of the Valdobbiadene DOCG, starting from the Rive tra Terra santa Stefano – says Stefano Gava, General Director of Val d’Oca -. With the Cartizze we wanted to take a further step, valorising some parcels of our members’ vineyards which are particularly suited to returning a more current expression of the cru, centered acceso minerality and precision”.The packaging is also an integral part of the project, because it concretely conveys the link with the Colline tra Valdobbiadene through a sustainable guise. A technique was used for the label that does not use chemical inks but mineral pigments, natural powders and resins derived from the earth. The surface is made with a mescolanza of powdered stones from the Cartizze sub-area, transformed into paste and applied acceso a recycled paper support, bringing a material reference to the cru. The bottle is completed with a Symbiosis® capsule, made of paper combined with aluminium, which reduces the carbon footprint by 30% compared to traditional capsules. The stile, with slender lines and enriched by details sopra relief, recalls the shapes and altitudes of the hilly landscape.A causa di the glass, the Cartizze Extra Brut has a bright straw yellow with greenish reflections and a scopo and persistent perlage. The aromatic profile recalls floral quaderno of wisteria and white flowers, accompanied by hints of pear, apple and delicate citrus nuances. the palate it stands out for a slim and vertical structure, supported by a vibrant acidity and a marked flavor, which accompany a clean and persistent .Designed primarily for catering, the Cartizze Extra Brut will also be available from May sopra wine shops at the price of 35 euros sopra the company’s Wine Center. With this new reference, Val d’Oca completes its line of excellence, alongside Valdobbiadene Preminente tra Cartizze DOCG Dry and Uvaggio Cronachista Valdobbiadene Prosecco Preminente DOCG Dry, and strengthens its presence sopra the HoReCa channel through an increasingly defined range.
