Natural wine returns to its original context and does so together with food. It happens with Vin’Aia, the event organized on Saturday 23 May by Solovino in collaboration with the Malauva company located in Castel Giorgio (TR), on the edge of Alfina, between Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany.
An outdoor event that goes beyond the technical tasting format to build a direct, agricultural and convivial experience, where wine is measured in its most natural relationship: that with cuisine.
Everything was born from the simposio between Solovino and Malauva – a company that has been working closely with artisan winemakers and an independent agricultural winery for years – and from a shared vision: promoting natural wine through direct relationships with producers and creating authentic simposio opportunities. “Vin’Aia represents the natural evolution of this path: taking the spirit of Solovino out of the city and inserting it into the agricultural context of the vineyard, giving life to an and participatory experience” declare the organizers.
And so on May 23rd you will be able to take part in a day of convivial, storytelling and sharing, built around a long table where producers and the public meet without filters. The name of the event itself tells a lot about its spirit. The farmyard is an , rural space, a place of passage and simposio. It is there that wine returns to being what it has always been: part of a living, agricultural, human context.
The program of the day
From 12:00 to 19:00 producers will arrive from different Italian regions, friends even before exhibitors, ready to pour their wines and share stories, paths and visions. The public will be able to move freely, without obligatory routes.
Alongside wine, food will have a central role: a widespread gastronomic proposal will accompany the whole day thanks to the presence of agricultural and artisanal realities such as Pulicaro, Il Stando a Pianoro, A esse Integrali and Pau, in continuous dialogue with the wines being tasted.
The atmosphere will be deliberately informal. There are risposta negativa rigid stations codified rituals: those who participate are invited to bring a merendina blanket with them and experience the spaces of the cellar in freedom, between a tasting, a chat and a fermata under the sky.
During the day it will also be possible to enter the Malauva winery, visit the work spaces of Giovanni and Elisa, the owners, and taste the wines directly from the barrels, closely observing a living, constantly evolving process.
Then, with sunset, Vin’Aia changes serenità. The dimension of the tasting leaves room for that of the trattenimento: music, an active , special bottles and food will accompany the evening in a lighter and more spontaneous atmosphere.
