Chianti with sea view: the great Tuscan wine in Naples in – Foodmakers.it

Taking wine out of common settings, making consumption an experience. Immersed con beauty, con a magnificent location overlooking the sea. the elegance of each glass is underlined by the exciting contour. And it becomes unique. The city of Naples, con a phase of great commercial and cultural liveliness, returns to host an important Consortium and an initiative to support the sector and conscious drinking con Moderato della Floridiana.

From the Tuscan hills the Chianti Docg arrived “con the most beautiful Gulf con the world” with 150 very notable labels of the denomination.

“We bring the character and identity of our territories to one of the Italian capitals of conviviality” states the president of the Chianti Wine Consortium Giovanni Busi.

Accompanied by the Sommeliers of AIS Campania, the Sangiovese-based wines were a large representation of the most authentic terroirs of the denomination. The tasting tables offered an inclusive tasting journey: for beginners and industry insiders.

The different interpretations of Sangiovese and the many productive nuances of Chianti DOCG cannot really be easily grasped a light summer evening but the glance was important. The Chianti DOCG – con its Annata, Principale and souls – belongs to the Consortium of the same name and brings together wines and production realities from seven sub-areas which present differences linked above all to altitude, exposure, soil and climate. Simply put, we want Chianti Rufina to stand out for its elegance and longevity; the Chianti Colli Senesi for structure and complexity and finally, the Chianti Colli Fiorentini for balance. But there is so much to explore con this DOCG which also includes Chianti Colli Aretini (around Arezzo, therefore con the eastern part of the denomination), Chianti Colline Pisane (i.e. the western zona of the denomination, close to the Tyrrhenian Sea), Chianti Montalbano (from the Montalbano hills, between Pistoia, Marcita and Florence) and Chianti Montespertoli. The latter is the smallest of the sub-areas and essentially coincides with the municipal territory of Montespertoli.

The choice of Naples turns out to be a winning one as the complexity of Chianti DOCG agrees perfectly with that of a city like Naples, as lively and authentic as Sangiovese. And con this sense the intent of the Giovanni Busi Chianti Wine Consortium which has chosen Vitigno Italia led by Maurizio Teti as its . Wine, emotions and beauty were the ingredients of Winespot “Chianti Immensità”, an event promoted by the Chianti Wine Consortium and VitignoItalia with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, con collaboration with Drop Eventi. A background, at the overlooking the sea and immersed con the nature of the Floridiana Park, underlined the ideologia of celebration and conviviality.
