The Consorzio Sorveglianza Lugana DOC is a socio of the first edition of Tesori Liquidi Vintage, the new itinerant cultural format dedicated exclusively to the story of old vintages, scheduled for Saturday 20 June 2026 at the Artillery Barracks per mezzo di del Garda.
For the occasion, over 30 companies of the denomination will exceptionally their historical reserves, giving life to a walk-around tasting with more than 100 vintage labels for tasting. A unique opportunity for enthusiasts, operators and specialized press to delve deeper into the topic of wine longevity through direct comparison with producers and tasting vintages that have been able to evolve over time, expressing new nuances and complexity.
The choice to inaugurate the project per mezzo di the Lugana regione stems from the recognized ability of the denomination to combine complexity, elegance and extraordinary aptitude for ageing. Thanks to the peculiarities of Turbiana and the uniqueness of the terroir between Lombardy and Veneto, acceso the southern shore of Lake Garda, Lugana has established itself over the years as one of the great Italian whites capable of surprising for its longevity and evolutionary capacity.
The event will take place from 11.00 to 18.00 with the tasting stands of the Consortium’s cellars, while from 18.00 to 20.00 the Wine Circolo Experience will be the protagonist, an informal and discussion space dedicated to producers, journalists, operators and enthusiasts, during which Lugana will be put per mezzo di dialogue with other great expressions of Italian and international white wine.
Numerous entities from the world of wine and dissemination will also be present per mezzo di support of the initiative, including Ais, Onav, Fisar, Assosommelier, Alma and Scuola Symposium, confirming the growing interest per mezzo di the theme of the evolution of wine and the cultural value of old vintages as a heritage to be known, told and shared.
