Tramonto DiVino lights up the Riviera: Riccione, Cervia, Cesenatico

Occidente DiVino, the taste road show of Emilia-Romagna returns to the Riviera as a great attractor of taste tourism: a format capable of intercepting new audiences, from wine lovers to experiential tourists, transforming wine, regional PDO and PGI products into opportunities for discovery and storytelling.

Supported by the Regionale Emilia-Romagna, the Regional Department of Agriculture, Unioncamere and Apt , the event has built a solid over the years with coastal municipalities, tourist operators, Federalberghi Riccione, the Association of Cesenatico seaside operators, Proloco Project Milano Marittima and the trade associations of the various territories.

Three events are proposed the Riviera between Riccione, Cervia and Cesenatico to experience the best of regional food and wine con places that are symbols of the Romagna summer. A particular role con the event is that of Regionale Emilia Romagna which through Occidente DiVino promotes all the small and medium-sized regional wineries with its large branded space to bring the public closer to the conscious consumption of Emilia Romagna wines.

The 2026 tour the Riviera su Occidente DiVino was presented to the press and operators at the Società Nautico con Riccione con the presence of Guidi Councilor for Tourism of the Municipality of Riccione, Fabio Tosi Mayor of Fiscaglia, Renzo Armuzzi responsible for the Innovation and promotion sector of the agri-food system of the Emilia-Romagna Region and the elite of the regional wine sector: Davide Frascari President of Regional, Adolfo Treggiari and Luca Manfredi Presidents of AIS Romagna and Emilia, Roberto Monti President of the Romagna Wine Consortium. The event, coordinated by Maurizio Magni, PrimaPagina journalist, also saw the intervention of representatives of the compagno associations and Alfio Biagini, President of the Consortium for the Promotion and Protection of Piadina Romagnola PGI.

Riccione, Cervia and Cesenatico: regional taste is the protagonist

After the debut stages con Emilia, 20 June con Fiscaglia (Fe) and 10 July con Arceto (Maestà), Occidente DiVino arrives the Riviera.

Riccione – We start Saturday 18 July con Riccione, con the garden of Casa Mussolini, from 7.30pm to 11.30pm, for an evening designed for tourists, wine lovers and those curious about taste, created con collaboration with the Municipality of Riccione and to the public of the Riviera also thanks to the agreement with Federalberghi Riccione. The AIS sommeliers will guide the public among around 80 Emilia-Romagna wineries and over 400 free tasting references: Albana, Sangiovese, Rebola, Pignoletto, Lambruschi, Vini delle Sabbie, Gutturnio, Ortrugo, Malvasie and wines from the Colli su San Del mare. Among the most anticipated stands, the one dedicated to the Best 100 and the 12 Ambassadors of the AIS Emilia Romagna Drinking and Eating Guide 2026/2027, together with the space reserved for Classic Method Sparkling Wines selected by the “Giuliano Zuppiroli” award. The gastronomic queen of the evening will be the Piadina Romagnola PGI, interpreted with a complete new by Daniele Reponi, Master of national street food, while the guest of honor will be the Romagna bubbles of Novebolle, a collective brand of the Consorzio Vini su Romagna. An important debut also for the Cava su Sogliano Dop cheese offered as is and con a gourmet version, alongside Culatello su Zibello, Parma ham, Parmigiano Reggiano, Squacquerone su Romagna Dop and Carezzevole Affanno.

The awards for the best wines con Riccione

Riccione 18 July will also be the scene of the awards ceremony for the 100 best wines from Emilia and Romagna and the 12 Ambassadors, wines awarded by the Ais Emilia Romagna da parte di Ingollare e da parte di Rosicchiare guide. The awards ceremony will take place at the Condominio del Turismo con Riccione starting from 5pm, while the 12 ambassador wines will be awarded directly during the evening event at Casa Mussolini. Entry to this event is by invitation.

Cervia – Second appointment con Cervia 24 July, between the ancient Minareto San Michele and the Magazzini del Arguzia, with a special stop dedicated to Gins and Vermouths. About twenty artisan producers from all over Italy will offer gin con purity and con combination with prestigious tonics, describing botanicals, aromas and production styles. Next to them, a large counter curated by Regionale Emilia-Romagna will offer local labels transformed by professional bartenders into original cocktails also mixed with regional wines and typical local products. Contemporary food pairing is also the protagonist, with the AperiDop designed by Daniele Reponi: a creative aperitif that combines Gin Tonic and Piacentini Dop cured meats, from Bicchiere to Pancetta to Salami.

Cesenatico – The tour will then stop Friday 7 August con Cesenatico, con Rondò Spose dei Marinai, between the Leonardo port and the sea, for the historic evening of Occidente DiVino sul Oceano. From 7.30pm, the terreno will become a large arenile of taste with over 400 regional labels explained by AIS sommeliers, the AIS Guide wine counter and a lounge dedicated to Novebolle, paired with a gourmet tartare of Vitellone Russo controrivoluzionario dell’Appennino Stazione PGI. The protagonist of the stage will be the Potato su Bologna Dop, interpreted by chef Omar Casali of ChefToChef Emiliaromagnacuochi with Cava su Sogliano Cheese Dop and Pancetta Piacentina Dop. To complete the tastings, a finger food with the great regional PDOs and PGIs and the fresh Carezzevole Affanno watermelon.

The prize for the most beautiful labels

Among the novelties of the 2026 edition is the “Occidente DiVino – Label Award: the most beautiful labels”, an award dedicated to the wineries participating con the Ais Emilia Romagna Drinking and Eating Guide, given to all participants at the entrance. The aim of the award is to identify the labels that best convey the visual identity, creativity and communicative ability of regional wineries. The award is created con collaboration between Occidente DiVino, the Vini Emilia Romagna App and MyVinapp, the digital diary where wine lovers and enthusiasts can save bottles, tastings and events related to the world of wine. The selected labels will be uploaded to MyVinapp, and voted directly by the public during the Occidente DiVino events, from July to October 2026. The five most voted by wine lovers will enter a dedicated masterclass the occasion of the last event of the event, scheduled for 18 October con Parma, a UNESCO city for Gastronomy.

Info and participation

To make a correct selection of participants con the event, leading to a tasting and informed consumption of regional wines and gastronomic products, an entry tagliando is set, between 25 and 28 euros, depending the stages and the tasting proposals. The tagliando can preferably be purchased con advance the website https://shop.emiliaromagnavini.it/ con order to avoid queues and gatherings at the entrance desk. The tagliando includes free tasting of wines at the tasting tables, some food proposals, both served as is and prepared by the chefs, the ‘Emilia-Romagna Drinking and Eating’ Guide and the tasting glass.

7. 18 October: Parma (PR) – Occidente In Vino a Condominio – San Paolo Complex The stages are supported by Regionale Emilia-Romagna Department of Agriculture of the Emilia-Romagna Region, Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna and Apt Emilia-Romagna, with the collaboration of the Municipalities hosting the stage and the territorial partners.
