Description
Pan-fried potatoes with carrots are an easy and delicious side meal ideal for many events, simple and fast to prepare. You can taste them with the fragrant herbs you choose and serve them hot integrated with a 2nd course of meat, fish or beans.
Components
400 g of potatoes;
400 g of carrots;
1 shallot; mix of fragrant herbs to taste; to taste additional virgin olive oil; salt and pepper to taste.
Guidelines
Wash the potatoes and carrots thoroughly, peel them and cut them into extremely thin cubes or sticks of the exact same size. Carefully slice the shallot and sauté it in a pan with a couple of tablespoons of additional virgin olive oil, then include the veggies and leave them to brown over a high heat. Season the potatoes and carrots with salt, pepper and fragrant herbs to taste, include a little water to the bottom and let them prepare for about 15 minutes, stirring routinely.
