Chocolate Muffin with Strawberry Coulis


Chocolate Muffin filled with strawberry, simple to make and a great concept for something various. We topped it with a fresh strawberry sauce aka coulis that we got with simply a couple of components without utilizing range.

Makes about 6-7 muffins|Preparation time: 20 minutes|Cooking time: approx. 15 to 20 minutes

00 g white sieved type 00 flour or Plain Flour/ All Function Flour.
100 gr of sugar.
30 gr of sorted unsweetened cocoa.
a teaspoon of sorted baking powder.
80 ml milk.
Chocolate chips, to taste.
1 egg.
30 ml sunflower oil.
6 entire Strawberries per muffin + 6/7 cut in half for the coulis.
50 g Icing sugar.
1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice.

Approach

Let’s start with the fresh strawberry coulis:

Put the halved strawberries in a bowl with the icing sugar and the lemon or lime juice, blend up until smooth. Reserve.

Preheat the oven to 180 C/ 350 F/ GAS 4.

Whether muffin cases or ceramic ramekins, start by buttering and gently flouring them, reserved.

Take 2 bowls, one for dry components (flour, cocoa, sugar and yeast, blended) and one for liquids (egg, milk and oil, blended). Now put the liquids into the bowl with the solids.Mix whatever together rapidly including the chocolate chips.Pour the mix into buttered and floured muffin or ramekin moulds, filling them midway with the mix and location an entire strawberry in the centre of each, then cover it totally with other mix.

Bake in a preheated fixed oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes– time depends upon your oven.

Eliminate from the oven, delegate cool and dress with the formerly ready strawberry coulis.
