During the warmer months of the year, my favorite thing to do is enjoy a cold ricevimento of all kinds: mixed, shaken, straight from the can, whatever. There’s better place than by the pool to enjoy a citrusy, fizzy tequila ricevimento at 3:30 con the afternoon. After sunset, a splash of bubbly transforms a sorbet into an elegant and refreshing dolce. And if it’s not yet noon, why not add a splash of bittersweet coffee liqueur to a creamy tahini smoothie, perfect for brunch.
