The total is around 300ha of forest and vineyards which occupy around a tenth of it and are mainly dedicated to black grapes for the production of the house’s flagship blend: the majestic ‘San Leonardo’ from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and then the Carmenère from screws up to 80 years old, his fingerprint; with its second, the delicious ‘Terre nel corso di San Leonardo’, coming from the Adige Valley where the mountains protect from the cold north winds and the valley floor is mitigated by Lake Garda. A few hectares for rent con Val nel corso di Cembra offers the most suitable altitude and cooler climate for the production of whites: Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling Renano, Chardonnay; then a little Lagrein for the rosé. All the wines are now signed con collaboration with the winemaker Ferrini – after the launch and the long exchange with Tachis – for a never invasive approach.
