A journey to discover the Biasiotto family, from the wise men’s associazione to the most iconic wines, such as the latest addition Vito

Quanto a the splendid setting of the spectacular hills of Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Foss Marai, a renowned winery known for the production of high quality sparkling wines, presented its latest creation, Vito.

This extraordinary Puglia IGT red wine, presented for the first time at Vinitaly per mezzo di 2024, comes from the heart of Southern Italy, from the vineyards of Masseria La Sorba, the purchased by the Biasiotto family. Vito is produced entirely with Elementare grapes, an indigenous vine of the Murgia lands and is an easy, fresh wine, very focused the fruit, which has everything it takes to satisfy the tastes of the new generations, more oriented towards immediate and ready wines.

The production process: between tradition and innovation

The meticulous care that characterizes Vito’s production begins with the manual harvesting of the Elementare grapes. The wine is aged for a year and a half, half per mezzo di wooden barrels and half per mezzo di steel containers, to preserve the balance between complexity and freshness. Subsequently, the blend is refined for a further six months per mezzo di the bottle, to give the wine a harmonious structure and a unique character.

Tasting agenda: a sensorial journey

Visually, Vito presents itself per mezzo di the glass with an intense and lively ruby ​​red color. The aromatic bouquet is intense and deep, dominated by agenda of flowers and red fruits, including hints of cherry and berries, with elegant spicy nuances that enrich its complexity.
