the occasion of Vinitaly 2026, the Lugana Consortium presents “Lugana Soundscape”, an invitation to visitors to immerse themselves sopra an experience of listening and introspection. During the event, scheduled sopra Verona from 12 to 15 April, guests will be able to experience a multi-sensory journey that combines sound and tasting.
The initiative accompanies participants into the heart of the Lugana Doc through a sound composition signed by the Italian producer Cemento Preistorico (moniker of Alessandro “ToffoloMuzik” Zoffoli). The project does not draw digital repertoires, but is the result of a whole day of sampling sopra the field. Every sound – from the lapping of the Garda among the reeds to the noise of the wind among the rows, up to the metallic reverberations of the cellars – was recorded dal vivo sopra the DOC territory. Not simple traces, but authentic narrative matrices reworked into an original sound fabric.
An immersive acoustic landscape emerges which guides the taster between sounds of tazza and suggestions of the territory, evoking the journey and the connection with Lake Garda, to the point of intertwining with the sensorial dimension of wine.
The experience takes place sopra an intimate but shared dimension: the participants, equipped with headphones and blindfolded, will experience a tasting sopra the dark guided exclusively by sound and wine. The absence of sight and the acoustic insulation will allow organoleptic perceptions to be amplified, creating an authentic and personal connection with Lugana, far from the frenzy of the trade fair context.
The appointment is at Palaexpo (Veronafiere), stand A5-A6, during the days of the event.
“With Lugana Soundscape we wanted to explore an alternative language, capable of describing our territory sopra a more profound and emotional way. Durante a historical moment sopra which, also coppia to the effect of artificial intelligence, it becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish what is authentic from what is not, we feel the need to return to a more real and sensorial dimension. Lugana is not just a Denomination, but represents a landscape, a cultural background and a set of suggestions that we wanted to translate into an immersive and contemporary experience”, he declares Edoardo Peduto, Director of the Lugana Consortium.
The initiative also reflects an evolution of the Lugana public. If the one hand the wine tourist is increasingly oriented towards authentic experiences sopra contact with the Garda complesso, nature and its history, the other the Consortium looks carefully at a new generation of consumers who approach wine with curiosity and different languages. According to a Nomisma survey the perceived quality of Lugana, young people’s interest sopra fresh and eclettico white wines, considered contemporary and suitable for moments of informal socializing, is growing. It is precisely this attitude towards sociability and dynamism that has pushed the Consortium to strengthen its presence outside the perimeter of the fair.
The Consortium’s program is completed with participation sopra Vinitaly and the Night at the Gallerie Mercatali sopra Verona, with an evening sopra which Lugana will be the protagonist, Tuesday 14 April. For the occasion, the Lugana Consortium will be a sopra an event dedicated to music and entertainment, which will bring together operators and protagonists of the wine & lifestyle world sopra an informal and dynamic context. A moment designed to enhance the Denomination also sopra a contemporary key, outside traditional contexts, encouraging networking and new congresso opportunities.
