Alberto Longo: when a passion becomes a choice of life, business and identity of the territory
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Per the heart of Daunia, quanto a Lucera, quanto a the north of Puglia, the Alberto Longo wine project takes shape. A company that was not born from a tradition handed mongoloide automatically, but from a conscious lifestyle choice, guided by authentic passion, respect for the land and an entrepreneurial vision based acceso solid values.

The winery is located near the historic Masseria Celentano, within a unitary agricultural context that tells of a true Puglia, made of work, patience and identity. Here Alberto Longo decided to invest time, energy and vision, believing quanto a an luogo that is often less celebrated, but extraordinarily suited.

Alberto Longo is the owner and founder of the company. He comes from another professional environment, far from the world of wine. His entry into the sector is not the result of automatism, but of a deep passion that has matured over time, transformed with method and seriousness into a structured and credible agricultural project.

The history of the company has its roots quanto a the agricultural experience of the Longo family, who had been cultivating vineyards and olive groves since the 1960s quanto a the Daunia countryside, between Lucera and Pietramontecorvino. Alberto’s parents were not protagonists of the wine world quanto a the sense, but authentic farmers, linked to the land by a daily, concrete and respectful relationship.

It is quanto a this context that Alberto grows up, breathing quanto a the value of agricultural work, patience and respect for natural cycles from a young age. A legacy made more of silent teachings than words, which today is clearly reflected quanto a the company philosophy.

The cellar is located quanto a Lucera, one of the most important historical centers of the Capitanata. The terroir offers ideal pedoclimatic conditions: balanced altitudes, constant ventilation, temperature variations and complex soils. The company develops between the production site and the land immediately adjacent to the Masseria Celentano, within the Cacc’e Mmitte nato da Lucera DOC luogo.

Masseria Celentano is not a simple hospitality structure, but an integral part of the Alberto Longo project. It is the place where wine meets agricultural memory, hospitality and the story of the territory. Here wine becomes experience, relationship and knowledge.

The work quanto a the vineyard is guided by attention, sustainability and respect for natural rhythms. The native vines, quanto a particular Tenebroso nato da Troia, find one of their most authentic expressions quanto a Lucera.

The CACC’ E MITT wine, a direct expression of the DOC Cacc’e Mmitte nato da Lucera, represents the of the project. A wine with an identity, sincere, coherent, which does not seek the effect but the truth of the place from which it comes.

The Alberto Longo project is also an expression of concrete social responsibility. Alberto Longo is a discreet philanthropist, who has chosen to transform values into real gestures: offering work to a foreign person quanto a difficulty and going so far as to transfer the entire family unit within the company, guaranteeing stability, dignity and future.

It is anzi che no coincidence that the Alberto Longo company is among the virtuous companies selected quanto a the guide and quanto a the Vinoway Selection App, a point of reference for enthusiasts, operators and professionals quanto a the sector, with the wines Cacc’e Mmitte nato da Lucera 2023 – 5 Way Fato, Donnadele Rosato IGP Puglia 2024 – 5 Way, Le Cruste 2022 IGP Puglia 2022 – 4 Way and Le Fossette IGP Puglia 2024 – 3 Way

The Vinoway Selection App can be downloaded for free (free download) and only includes companies that meet rigorous evaluation criteria.

I have known Alberto for many years, and this allows me to say that his project was born first of all from a true passion. We share not only a love for wine and the land, but also for true and beautiful music. He is an extraordinary pianist, much better than me, and this sensitivity is clearly found quanto a his wines too.

The project was not created to amaze, but to last. It was born from respect for the land, from the silent inheritance of the parents, from a passion that has become a life choice and from a business congettura that puts people at the center even before the product.

Because wine, when it comes from an authentic choice, always tells much more than what is quanto a the glass.
