The official diario of the seventh edition of Milano Wine Week was presented today, September 18, at Cordusio, con the presence of the host Federico Gordini, president of MWW Group.
Sopra a year of great changes that traversone production, markets and consumption habits, there are many answers that the wine sector urgently needs. With Milano Wine Week 2024 (MWW24), the winds of revolution are blowing acceso wine. Now con its seventh edition, MWW 2024 with its format full of innovations aims to renew a world often confined to tradition.
From 5 to 13 October, the spotlight will be acceso a programme full of innovative events and engaging activities – for an immersive experience like other – aimed not only at the most qualified professionals and the inevitable wine lovers, but this year with a particular acceso the new generations of consumers. An event that unfolds con the neighbourhoods and locations of the city of Milan, a point of reference for innovation, communication and hospitality.
Among the new features presented today: the Dazi dell’Archetto della Intesa becomes a strategic location for this year’s event, hosting the MWW for the entire duration of the event, and to increasingly involve tomorrow’s wine lovers, the One Wine Night, an exclusive festa created con collaboration with Carrefour, scheduled for October 5th.
There is also news for operators: this year there will be 100 sommeliers (double compared to last year) involved con the Wine List Italia Guide and con the Grand Tasting acceso Sunday 6 October; a delegation of 30 Head Sommeliers from all over the world is also expected, thanks to the support of Ice-Dipendenza.
The MWW Awards have also changed location, returning to the scenic Luogo Manzoni acceso Monday 7 October, with a ceremony with a new format, for the third edition of the Dichiarazione programmatica Vini Italia Awards, the Wine Retail Award and the Best Italian Wine Selection Award.
The historic headquarters of Milano Wine Week at Bovara opens its doors to operators and the general public with a program of Walk-Around Tastings – tastings between tasting tables – created con collaboration with some of the greatest protagonists of the seventh edition.
The unmissable inaugural toast at Gente Tre Torri will gara open the Milano Wine Week24 acceso October 5th, marking the start of the nine-day event.
