The Lambrusco, the grape variety with an incredible and rare ability to unite people, thanks to its apparent simplicity and immediacy. Far from being trivial, he manages to convey frankness, joy and to create conviviality, that fundamental ingredient of the table that seems to have now fallen into the oblivion.

A complex grape variety quanto a its essentiality and honest quanto a knowing how to accept its deepest nature, which does not aspire to grow old, but to be an undisputed companion of varied combinations, from the simple snack to the most complex dishes.

A new key, therefore, that opens the occasion of themasterclass (“Lambrusco. Praise of joy and versatility”) led by Pierluigi Gorgoni, journalist and teacher Alma, organized by the Regional Mescita of Emilia-Romagna during the last edition of Vinitaly.

A unique opportunity to discover the numerous chromatic and gustatory facets of the Lambrusco: with soft colors and floral perfumes of Sorbara to the impenetrable ones of the masters, passing through the strongly typical expressions of salami, lageography of a territory intimately linked to this wine tradition is drawn. And, with it, the authentic soul of a people who grew up with the exuberance of a never banal chalice, champion of a region and ambassador of a culture.

A pleasant divagazione between hills and plains and not already a meraded tasting, which has been able to dose agronomic biodiversity and the rich regional amplographic heritage quanto a an instant.

Lambrusco nel corso di Sorbara Doc – Cellar of Carpi and Sorbara

The freshly veiled pink color betrays the ancestral method of winemaking and anticipates a bouquet of subtle elegance. Floral and purple veins bind harmoniously with shades of red fruit such as cherry and raspberry, for a nose of great cohesion. Sopra the mouth, the lashing flavor finds a partial balance quanto a the persuasive hudeness of the .

Lambrusco nel corso di Sorbara Doc del – Cavicchioli

A pink coat alive to the sight heralds the vibrant exuberance this glass. The olfactory kit, which moves quanto a balance between crunchy red fruit, hints of blood orange and balsamic agenda is wide. Acceso the sip, it is moderately soft, but supported by an unexpected, as pleasant, acid/savory gioco.

Lambruscone Emilia IGT – Casali

A direct wine without superstructures this grasparossa blend (30%), salamino (30%), Marani (30%) and Delicato Malbo (10%). It affects the non-mediated interpretation of a specific zona, characterized by a pot-poores of dark fruits, such as blueberries and blackberries, and by a slight tannic plot that makes it suitable for meat dishes.

Lambrusco Reggiano Doc Ligabue – Gualtieri

A very enjoyable simposio between the Lambrusco nel corso di Duna (Maestri, 10%) and of plain (Salamino, 90%) summarized quanto a a glass with a gustatory verve never obvious. Floral and fruity hints move hand quanto a hand, anticipating an almost “creamy” sip, supported by a chase of dolce/bitterness capable of teasing the palate and of finanziaria the fatness of a cheese assiette

Reggiano DOC Lambrusco – Medici Hermes

It affects the composite exuberance of a very large nose, which moves from the agenda of red fruit to spiced ones, passing through delicate hints of blood orange and licorice. Ala mouth, perfectly responding to the bouquet, which closes with the long memory of the citrus and savory agenda.

Lambrusco Grasparossa of Castelvetro DOP – Settecani cellar

Unquestionably Mediterranean the olfactory system of this Lambrusco that opens with variations of juniper berries, small red fruits, herbs of stain and continues with floral agenda to be the background to the tasting. The drunk, elegant, is an completo gioco between tannin and softness, between refreshing astringency and an unexpected creaminess for a graspaross.

The tasting, confirming the versatility and potential of Lambrusco, opens to the discovery of new combination frontiers and the revaluation of an unjustly considered “minor” grape variety.
