And it’s immediately art: Cà du Ferrà and Graziana Grassini

Antonio Zoppi, originally from Bonassola, and Aida Forgione, from Campania and a winemaker for generations, met more than thirty years spillo. They decide to leave their professions, he is an entrepreneur and she is a trader. Quanto a love with the place they have chosen as home, the Eastern Ligurian Riviera, and precisely the village of Bonassola, Antonio and Aida become winemakers, putting their knowledge and passions to good use. And so quanto a 2000 Cà du Ferrà was born, a winery and farmhouse, a dialectal expression of “blacksmith’s house” because quanto a these lands, now crossed by rows of vines, horses were once shod.

DAVIDE ZOPPI

Quanto a the last six years, his son Davide has also joined the company, who after graduating quanto a Law, embraces another civic commitment: the recovery of a territory, his own, convinced that viticulture is the right way to make it emerge. Davide together with her husband Giuseppe Aieta, a graduate quanto a Engineering and with a Master’s quanto a Finance, became owners of the company, leaving Milan quanto a 2017, moving permanently to Bonassola. Together they begin a process of modernizing the winery and opening up to wine tourism, looking to the future without ever forgetting the past.

Graziana Grassini, Tuscan entrepreneur, oenologist and biologist, is considered one of the most influential personalities acceso the Italian wine scene. You collaborated with Giacomo Tachis, the father of modern Italian oenology, and you completed your academic studies at the Faculty of Oenology quanto a Bordeaux. She is a consultant oenologist for prestigious wineries, teaches quanto a Masters and university seminars and has collaborated with the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil of the Sicily Region. Since 2019 you have been part of the Scientific Committee of Onav and quanto a October 2021 you were appointed by the Minister of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies as a member of the National Wine Committee. From 2022, again upon appointment by the Minister, you will be Vice President of the DOCG and DOC wine tasting commission.

The conferenza between the owners of Cà du Ferrà and Graziana has the effect and explosiveness of a work of art, of a magic that only happens to souls who are similar. A sort of mutual falling quanto a love that can only generate unexpected surprises.

GRAZIANA GRASSINI

“The human aspect quanto a my work is fundamental. – says the winemaker – The conferenza with Giuseppe and Davide was among the most beautiful because we entrusted ourselves to each other, naturally, without forcing. Being an oenologist means interpreting the philosophy of the producer and a territory, blending them together and knowing how to translate them into sensorial characteristics and the more emotional aspect of the wine. If the pleasure of being together is missing, everything is missing.”

“One aspect that distinguishes me from other colleagues is building very long relationships. – continues Grassini – I have been following companies for over twenty years with whom I have established bonds of respect and società. Even if technique has an important value quanto a this profession – I consider myself a woman of science – the wine must still be felt, it is not enough to apply the rules. I accepted this assignment after tasting their wines. I intervened acceso the finishing of some labels and I believe that an important step forward has already been made to further improve the quality, but above all to make the Cà du Ferrà wine even more recognisable, thanks to everyone’s work and involvement”.

GIUSEPPE AIETA

The first contact between them was like a spark. “We were won over by her profile and tried to contact her to involve her quanto a our professional but also personal growth project. – Explains Giuseppe Aieta – We didn’t expect that you would agree to collaborate with us practically immediately. Quanto a her we found a humility that is rare quanto a this environment and a great humanity.”

Davide Zoppi also confirms the magic of the first conferenza. “Already from Graziana’s warm and welcoming voice I understood that we could rely acceso her, she won us over at the first conferenza. Her CV spoke for itself, but quanto a her we found a special person. There are great foundations for doing great things together.”

The recognisability of the wine is a fundamental objective for Cà du Ferrà: to do so the two owners have chosen not only Graziana’s great professional and human qualities, but also an original type of communication which aims to amaze and which starts from the same ideals and same way of looking at the world that all three have quanto a common.

This new partnership makes use of innovative graphics: the ‘details’ of Davide, Giuseppe and Graziana make up a single image: a set of perfectly quanto a tune shapes and colours. Bright fragments, with sinuous shapes, which make up a single picture, which summarizes quanto a a single glance the natural harmony and potential of this newborn collaboration, but which will be talked about for a long time.
