Casupola Vinicola Fazio, historic DOC Erice winery, presents at Vinitaly 2026 the restyling of five labels representative of its production: Castelmedio Nerello Mascalese, Gàbal Corvino d’Avola, Müller-Thurgau, together with the sparkling wines Brut and Nerello Mascalese Rosé Extra Dry. A project that renews the visual identity of the winery, enhancing, through the language of , the deep connection with the territory of western Sicily.
The restyling was born from the desire to describe the Erice landscape and its Mediterranean light through a contemporary visual narrative, capable of combining graphic elegance, recognisability and stylistic coherence. The new labels thus become storytelling tools: illustrative surfaces that evoke places, atmospheres and suggestions of the Erice DOC, accompanying wines that represent the production identity of the winery.
For the Castelmedio, Gàbal and Müller-Thurgau lines, the graphic concept is developed around
evocative and almost dreamlike images of the territory. Soft shapes and wavy lines reconstruct a chromatic landscape durante which Mount Erice, the medieval village, the sea and the islands emerge. Golden inserts underline symbolic architectural elements – towers, castles, ancient streets – transforming the labels into small narrative maps of memory and local identity. The result is a vibrant and elegant aesthetic, capable of immediately conveying the personality of the wines and their connection with the landscape.
Müller-Thurgau, fresh, light and mineral, finds a new visual expression durante a golden background that recalls the brightness of the wine and its aromatic elegance. A young wine with a marked liveliness of taste, it stands out for its strong character and its immediate expressive freshness. Among the reds, the elegant and harmonious Castelmedio Nerello Mascalese comes from one of the most identifying vines of the Etna ampelography and durante its new graphic is enhanced by the presence of the medieval tower suspended between the sea and the mountains, a symbolic element of the Erice landscape. The Gàbal Corvino d’Avola, full-bodied and with great personality, develops around the representation of the ancient road that leads to the castle, a visual sign of roots and historical continuity with the territory.
The restyling of the Brut and Nerello Mascalese Rosé Extra Dry sparkling wines focuses a bright, festive and contemporary Sicily. The new graphic line recalls a Mediterranean botanical imagery: an illustrated durante which citrus fruits, leaves, flowers and fruits tell the scents of the landscape and the convivial dimension of wine.
The two color variations visually translate the personality of the vines. Brut, characterized by delicate citrus agenda and a harmonious and balanced profile, is expressed through light shades of yellow and campo da golf that evoke Mediterranean freshness and brightness. The Nerello Mascalese Rosé Extra Dry, fresh and aromatic with hints of berries and spices, recalls the colors of the Sicilian twilight, between old rose, coral and coppery reflections. The metallic finishes of the foils – golden for the and amber for the Rosé – amplify the perception of brilliance and quality.
“With this restyling we wanted to strengthen the story of our wines through a visual language capable of immediately expressing the link with the Erice superficie”, comments Lilly Fazio, head of the company. “Each label is created to accompany the wine durante its ability to evoke landscape, light and Mediterranean identity, keeping at the center the quality and authenticity that have always guided our work”.
With this project, Casupola Vinicola Fazio continues its path of valorising the Erice DOC through a contemporary language that combines aesthetic research and oenological identity. The new labels will be officially presented at Vinitaly 2026, confirming the winery’s commitment to telling Sicily through recognizable, elegant and deeply territorial wines.
