Cesari launches the new Classics line: the essence of Valpolicella Classica quanto a three wines

Cesari announces the launch of the new Classics line: a collection of identifying, elegant and refined wines that reinterpret quanto a a contemporary key the authentic essence of the terroir and winemaking tradition of Valpolicella. The Classics line is made up of three emblematic wines that represent the quintessence of Cesari’s production:

Valpolicella Sobrio; Valpolicella Primo; Classic Amarone.

The contemporary soul of tradition

The Classics line expresses a perfect balance between innovation and tradition and embodies the contemporary soul of Cesari without ever moving away from the territory. The new labels also reflect this vision: each color has been carefully chosen to represent the deep connection with Valpolicella and the Fumane winery. Quanto a particular:

the label of Valpolicella Sobrio takes up the color of Verona Marble, a warm and enveloping shade that characterizes the cellar; for Valpolicella Primo, the palette is inspired by the intense color of the grapes at the moment of pressing, after the traditional drying; Finally, Amarone Sobrio remains faithful to the historic satin bottle, a distinctive symbol that has accompanied the company for over 40 years.

The tasting

Valpolicella Sobrio DOC 2023

The Corvina (50%), Corvinone (20%), Rondinella (20%) and Molinara (10%) grapes give life to a delicate Valpolicella Sobrio, which reflects the climatic challenges faced. Produced with the classic red vinification, with cold pre-maceration at a temperature of 6°C for 7 days, once the malolactic fermentation is completed, micro-oxygenation is carried out quanto a steel for 15-20 days.

Tasting

Visual examination: intense, bright ruby.

Olfactory examination: the olfactory impact is fruity and seductive, with cherries clearly visible and balsamic scents quanto a the background.

Taste-olfactory examination: the palate it is fresh and pleasant, with a young tannic texture and a fruity fragrance that is repeated with style quanto a the finale.

Pairing: excellent with first courses, cured meats.

Valpolicella Primo DOC 2021

It is produced with Corvina (55%), Corvinone (20%), Rondinella (20%) and Molinara (5%) grapes. The classic technique with vinification lasting 15-18 days continues with refinement quanto a steel. After racking and malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged according to tradition to acquire balance and roundness, maintaining its original fruity character. Maturation is completed by rest quanto a the bottle.

Tasting

Visual examination: lively ruby ​​red colour.

Olfactory examination: fragrant fan that unfolds morello cherry jam, with spicy nuances and a balsamic touch.

Taste-olfactory examination: fresh, enveloping and warm palate. The subtle savory vein is perceptible.

Pairing: ideal with first courses with meat sauce, red meat.

Amarone della Valpolicella Sobrio DOCG 2019

Blend of Corvina (55%), Corvinone (25%) and Rondinella (20%) from different vineyards quanto a the Valpolicella Classica luogo.
