The annual appointment with FIVI winemakers and their wines returns from 23 to 25 November 2024 at BolognaFiere. The thirteenth edition of the Independent Winemakers’ Wine Market will be the second to take place sopra the Emilian capital.
The public will be welcomed by 1,007 winemakers from every Italian region, together with two delegations of European winemakers representing the national associations belonging to CEVI – Confédération Européenne des Vignerons Indépendants, and 32 members of FIOI – Italian Federation of Independent Olive Growers.
«Wine enthusiasts and operators will have more than a thousand good reasons to quasi to the Wine Market», jokes Lorenzo Cesconi, winemaker and president of FIVI – Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers. «But it’s not the numbers that fascinate us: at the Market, as sopra our vineyards, we work seeking the highest quality. Our objective is that the Wine Market represents a pleasant convegno place between producers, who can compagno and share knowledge and experiences, and between producers and consumers, without mediation. It’s as if we moved our cellars to the BolognaFiere pavilions for a few days: the spirit with which we welcome the public is the same.”
This year too, there will be an entire pavilion dedicated to gastronomy, with proposals from the local tradition and from other Italian territories. There will be four masterclasses that will enrich the program of the event, dedicated to the theme “Time and generations: past, present and future of Italian winemakers”. Furthermore, the occasion of the Wine Market, the winners of the 2024 “Leonildo Pieropan” Award will be announced, dedicated to the memory of one of the pioneers of FIVI, and of the “Winemaker like us” award, awarded last year to the singer and musician Stefano Belisari aka Elio.
