Feudi Spada: the new wine frontier of Alta Tuscia
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

the highest and most intact calcio d’angolo of Umbria, where the Region opens up to dialogue with Lazio and Tuscany, the Feudi Brando project takes shape. A young name, but already recognized at national and international level, capable of blending territorial identity, productive rigor and contemporary vision.

At the technical direction we find Alessandro Leoni, the best young winemaker 2024 according to Vinoway. A figure that combines solid technical , field experience and a marked ability to read autochthonous varieties and microclimatic dynamics.

Feudi Brando is not only a farm, it is a cultural and environmental garrison that was born land of volcanic origin, rich sopra skeleton and minerals, at the turn of a geographical border that sopra the centuries has also been a crossroads of civilization. these hills, where the wind dries, the light caresses and the night preserves, a respectful, essential viticulture is cultivated, which focuses everything subtraction and precision.

The Alta Tuscia is a silent but powerful territory, marked by the presence of the ancient Etruscans and modeled by a sober rural tradition, never screamed. The soils are tufaceous, porous, and give the grapes an “intelligent verticality”, which Alexander has been able to interpret with an oenological tension, saline, defined.

Feudi Brando is set between villages such as Castel Giorgio, Orvieto and Acquapendente, sopra an schieramento that for too long has remained the edge of the story of Italian wine. Today, however, he returns to the protagonist thanks to productions that know how to combine content and contemporaneity, without stylistic shortcuts.

The confirmation of excellence came with the awards at the Vinoway Selection 2025, where the cellar obtained prizes for all its main references:

–Alfina 2022-5 Way Salire alle stelle. White of volcanic matrix, interpreted with a safe hand.

– Orazio 2020 – 5 way. Red of structure, rich and stratified.

– Peppone 2023 – 5 way. Young red, immediate but not simple.

– The Marquise 2023 – 5 Way. Elegant white, floral, coherent.

– Immacolata 2021 – 5 way. Deep red, spicy, with balsamic returns and finely tamed tannin. A territorial wine that knows how to express determination and refinement.

– Hello Brut Rosé – 5 WAY. Method Charmat from Grad the red .

Born sopra 1992, graduated between Conegliano and Montpellier, Alessandro is one of the most promising winemakers of the new Italian generation. His imprint is clear but never intrusive, he works by subtraction, enhances the varietal, respects the micro-expressions of the year. Each wine that signs reflects a precise, never random choice.

addition to the technical conduction of Feudi Brando, he is a consultant for various Italian companies, where he applies the same principles such as agronomic precision, wine cleaning, identity interpretation. The wineway award was conferred for its ability to build value with seriousness, without clamor, but with measurable and shared results.

Feudi Brando is much more than a promise. It is an sopra full expansion reality that has chosen not to chase the trends, but to affirm a contemporary agricultural vision, where wine is a story, research and relationship with the territory.

Visiting the cellar means immersing yourself sopra an intact landscape, breathing a long sense of time, listening to the echo of a silent viticulture, which does not seek applause, but the depth.
