Masterclass, the launch of the ‘New Talents of Italian Oenology’ format and the direct feedback from producers and operators a causa di the sector confirm how the tasting and storytelling model developed by Vinoway is opening a new dimension a causa di wine communication. Not all wine events are born with the same ambition. Some limit themselves to hosting tastings and professional meetings; others manage to become authentic places of discussion, growth and vision for the entire sector.
The Paestum Wine Fest undoubtedly belongs to this second category.

The 2026 edition confirmed the solidity of an event that over the years has managed to gain an increasingly central role a causa di the Italian wine business visuale. An event capable of bringing together producers, oenologists, buyers, journalists and wine communicators, creating a space a causa di which wine is not only tasted, but interpreted and told a causa di its many cultural and economic dimensions. A causa di this context, the presence of Vinoway represented one of the most dynamic and popular moments of the event, thanks to a very popular stand, the masterclasses and the launch of the new format dedicated to the new generations of Italian winemaking. Many producers and operators present highlighted how the work carried out by Vinoway over the years is contributing to strengthening a more complete wine communication model, capable of bringing together technique, territory and market vision.
For the entire duration of the event, the Vinoway stand was one of the busiest spaces of the manifestazione.
A place where wine was told not only through tasting, but also through dialogue, comparison and in-depth analysis. Producers, oenologists, journalists and operators a causa di the sector constantly animated the space, transforming it into a real wine square, where different experiences, ideas and perspectives met.
Particular attention was also paid to the pratica of young people. Vinoway wanted to give space to two students from the Piranesi Institute of Capaccio Paestum, offering them a path that went beyond simple presence at the stand.
The kids were initially trained and supported by the Vinoway team, then experiencing the operational experience firsthand during the activities carried out at the stand. At the end of the event they were given a certificate of participation, signed by the artistic director Alessandro Rossi and Davide Gangi, together with the possibility of accessing the Vinoway Academy pratica platform for a year, as a concrete sign of investment a causa di the growth of the new generations.

This gesture also represents a precise signal of the vision that Vinoway has been pursuing for years: investing a causa di young people and creating concrete opportunities for professional growth. The format dedicated to Cannonau, conceived by Davide Gangi, also fits a causa di this direction, a project which subsequently received the support and promotion of Sardegna Ricerche, developed with the collaboration of the oenologist Mariano Murru, President of Assoenologi Sardegna, of Prof. Vincenzo Russo with the BrainLab of the IULM of Milan, and of Stevie Kim, a reference figure a causa di the visuale of international wine communication. A path that confirms how the dialogue between pratica, research, territory and new generations represents one of the cornerstones of Vinoway’s cultural and planning vision.
Many producers present underlined how the work carried out by Vinoway over the years is helping to strengthen communication that is more credible and more oriented towards the real value of wines and territories.
Among the most appreciated moments of the entire event were the masterclasses curated and conducted by Davide Gangi. The meetings recorded a large and qualified participation, with sector operators, journalists, oenologists and enthusiasts who followed the proposed tasting path with great attention. Many participants highlighted how these masterclasses represented a different experience compared to traditional technical tastings.

The reason is mainly linked to two elements.
The first concerns the selection of wines, coming from the analysis and tasting work of the Vinoway Selection guide, which guarantees a particularly high level of quality.
The second concerns the storytelling method. During the tastings the wine was not described only through technical ora sensorial parameters, but inserted into a narrative capable of relating territory, varietal identity, winemaking choices, market positioning and consumer perception.
An approach that many participants defined as more complete and contemporary, capable of restoring all of its cultural and economic complexity to wine.
“It was a different tasting than usual,” commented one of the producers present. “We didn’t stop at the technical description of the wine, but we entered into the context of the territory, the production choices and the positioning of the wine acceso the market”. Another producer highlighted a particularly significant aspect of the approach adopted during the tastings. “Here, emphasis is given not only to the wine, but also to who produces it, how it was created and why it was wanted a causa di that particular way. This allows us to truly understand the identity of a wine. It is a very interesting approach: Vinoway is ahead of the curve a causa di this type of communication.”
These testimonies confirm how the method adopted during the masterclasses has stimulated a broader reflection acceso the way of describing wine today, relating technique, territory and market vision.
The Paestum Wine Fest was the launch of the new format “The New Talents of Italian Enology”, created by Davide Gangi, with Main Sponsor Sugherificio Molinas, which featured Alessandro Leoni, Andrea , Antonio Scatigna, Jacopo Vagaggini, Marco Mascellani and Nicola Biasi.
The project was born with a clear objective: to enhance the new generations of Italian oenologists, telling the professional path and vision of those young technicians who are helping to write a new phase of national oenology.
During the masterclass dedicated to young winemakers, the same communication approach was deliberately adopted, putting not only the wine at the centre, but also the cultural and territorial context a causa di which it was born. The tasting was accompanied by a narrative capable of connecting the territory, production philosophy, wine choices and the vision of the young protagonists. The success of the event is also the result of the vision and work of those who have believed a causa di the growth of the project over the years.
Particular praise goes to the creator of the Paestum Wine Fest, Spirito celeste Zarra, who was able to build an event capable of establishing itself as one of the main events a causa di the Italian wine business. A well-deserved recognition also goes to the artistic director Alessandro Rossi, for the cultural and professional coordination work that contributes to making the Paestum Wine Fest a place of authentic discussion between producers, communicators and operators a causa di the sector.

Davide Gangi declared: “I am particularly satisfied with the attention and participation we recorded during our masterclasses. It was very stimulating to perceive how much the public appreciated not only the selection of wines, but above all the new way of describing them, bringing together technique, territory, vision and market. The launch of the format New Talents of Italian Oenology represents a very important project for us. Promoting the new generations of oenologists means looking to the future of Italian wine with confidence and responsibility. The great interest we registered a causa di Paestum confirms that today there is a strong need for wine communication that is more complete, more contemporary and more capable of communicating with the public and it is precisely a causa di this direction that we will continue to work with Vinoway”.
