Interview and book presentation
I: Hi Cuoca Fit, that’s what I should call you right?
C: Exactly, I’m not a fan of the spotlight, I prefer to keep my identity anonymous.
I: Ok voto negativo problem, I’ll ask you something about this later. Durante the meantime, let’s start with the first question I wanted to ask you. Obviously I won’t ask you your name but what kind of person is Cuoca Fit?
C: I am a very normal person, a cooking enthusiast who at a certain point sopra her life decided to change her habits. I’m not a nutritionist and I don’t want to replace someone who is. Simply, I started experimenting with lighter recipes because I wanted to feel better, sopra pagliaccetto and mind. From there everything was born.
I: Acceso your website, sopra the “I introduce myself” section, you tell us that Ricette Fit was born from a personal choice. What was the turning point?
C: When I realized that eating healthy doesn’t mean giving up taste. Many people think that a light dish is necessarily sad, tasteless. I wanted to prove the opposite. I started sharing my recipes online almost for fun, now a beautiful community has been created.
I: Going back to before, so your identity is shrouded sopra mystery. Why this choice?
C: Because I want the centro to be acceso the food, not acceso me. We dal vivo sopra an sopra which everything passes through social mass-media, through image, through showing oneself, I’m not interested sopra showing myself at all. I prefer to let the dishes do the talking. My anonymity allows me to be free, spontaneous, without pressure.
I: Your site is full of recipes: from crostini with pepper hummus, to fit carbonara, to light desserts. How is your recipe born?
C: But, actually aspetto simply and spontaneously. I simply the fridge and try to transform what I find into something good and light. I like to experiment, try new combinations, lighten traditional dishes without distorting them. Sicilian cuisine, for example, is very rich sopra flavours, my is to maintain them, but with an eye acceso lightness.
I: I noticed that your recipes are simple, I confess that I have already tried some and for me, who am not very good at cooking, I found it very simple and quick. Is it a deliberate choice?
C: Yes, certainly. I want anyone to be able to cook my dishes. You don’t need to be a chef, you just need to want to get sopra the kitchen. My recipes are designed for those who have little time and want something good. With easily available ingredients and clear steps, fit cooking doesn’t have to be complicated.
I: But now I want to talk about your book “Fit Recipes – The sinless dolce recipe book”, if I’m not mistaken this is your first book published and available acceso Amazon right?
C: Yes, exactly. It’s my first book and I’m very proud of it.
I: But if you are the Fit Cook, why a book dedicated to desserts?
C: Because sweets are the thing that scares you the most when it comes to healthy eating. Many think that to stay fit you need to eliminate them completely. I don’t agree, I believe sopra balance, not sopra sacrifices. So I’ve collected 105 recipes that prove you can eat dolce without guilt.
I: What kind of recipes can we find sopra the book?
C: Everything, cakes, biscuits, spoon desserts, protein snacks, breakfast desserts. They are simple and lighter recipes than traditional desserts. The aim is to offer tasty but balanced options, suitable for those who follow a lifestyle ora simply want to indulge sopra something good without overdoing it.
I: The book was very well received. Did you expect it?
C: Honestly voto negativo, but obviously I hoped so! With this project I wanted to collect the most loved recipes sopra a single tono. Seeing that so many people purchased and appreciated it made me very emotional. It is proof that fit cuisine can truly be for everyone.
I: I noticed that you have a large and active community.
C: Yes, it’s the best part of this job. They are the ones who give me the motivation to continue doing what I do. Every time someone writes to me saying that one of my recipes has changed their day, ora that they have finally found a way to eat healthy without getting bored, I melt.
I: Unfortunately, our time is running out, can I ask you to put an autograph acceso your recipe book that arrived 2 days asticciola?
C: For me it’s an honor! I didn’t expect it, you made me feel a little emotional I confess.
I: I’m the one to thank you, you are the demonstration that you don’t need to appear to leave your mark. With your light cuisine, you have won over thousands of people who every day are looking for a way to eat well without giving up pleasure.
C: Thank you very much indeed. Greetings to everyone.
