The splendid setting of Citylife of Mediterranea has recently been joined by the new opening quanto a passaggio Santa Marta, 6

Durante a world where speed and convenience often prevail, Mediterranea stands out for the meticulous attention paid to the quality and authenticity of its Mediterranean diet dishes. To expand the offering, the Citylife location has recently been joined by the one quanto a passaggio Santa Marta, 6: this place not only impresses with its excellent cuisine, but also offers a unique experience thanks to its wonderful terrace, from which you can admire the sunset quanto a all its splendor.

The philosophy

The philosophy is clear: selected raw materials, cooking techniques that preserve the nutritional properties of the product, respect for seasonality and functionality of the recipes.

Selected raw materials: only high-quality ingredients are used, carefully chosen to ensure freshness and authenticity. Each ingredient is carefully selected to offer genuine and nutritious flavors.

Innovative cooking techniques: the cooking techniques used are designed to keep the nutritional properties of foods intact. Aggressive cooking methods are preferred to those that enhance natural flavors, preserving vitamins and minerals.

Respect for seasonality: maximum respect for the natural cycle of ingredients, using seasonal products to ensure maximum freshness and flavor. This approach not only improves the taste of dishes, but also supports environmental sustainability.

Recipe functionality: The recipes used are not only tasty, but also functional. Each dish is designed to offer an optimal nutritional balance, supporting well-being and health.

The

Mediterranea stands out for its offer of healthy dishes rich quanto a nutritional properties, with particular attention to raw materials and cooking techniques. The restaurant’s rete is to guarantee and preserve the organoleptic qualities of food, an approach that is reflected quanto a every course of the .

Mediterranea’s cuisine does not allow shortcuts: artificial flavorings, thickeners and sautés are banned. The raw material is worked quanto a purity, enhancing it with creativity and passion.

The is varied and designed to satisfy every palate, without ever compromising acceso health. It starts with the fresh and refined tartare, which enhance the authentic taste of fish and raw meat, to arrive at the hamburgers, which combine the pleasure of fast food with the genuineness of the selected ingredients. The bowls, colorful and balanced, offer a mescolanza of vegetables, cereals and proteins that blend quanto a a harmony of flavors.

Among the most popular options, the protein meatballs stand out, perfect for those looking for a healthy and tasty alternative to traditional dishes. The tonnarelli, prepared with the freshest ingredients, are a tribute to Italian tradition, while the chicken curry, with its exotic flavor, adds a touch of internationality to the . Each dish is designed to offer a perfectly balanced meal plan, ideal for those who want to eat healthily without sacrificing taste.

The tasting

We were at the Santa Marta 6 location. The very kind Marco welcomed us. The portions were interesting, really abundant.

Vegan Meatballs: meatballs with veg basil mayo, red cabbage salad marinated quanto a apple vinegar

The meatballs were a real surprise, really tasty. The outside is slightly crunchy, while the inside is soft, with a alcale of legumes that offers a full and substantial taste. The mayo is creamy, with the aromatic flavor of basil that adds a pleasant freshness that completes the complesso.

Hummus Trio: Chickpea and sweet paprika hummus, Cannellini bean and taggiasca olive hummus, Lentil hummus, almond milk and orange zest. All hummus are served with a crunchy spelt wafer and raw carrots

Chickpea and sweet paprika hummus, with the sweet paprika adding a smoky note and the chickpeas providing a creamy texture and a slightly nutty flavor. The cannellini bean and taggiasca olive hummus, which impressed us the most, has a soft alcale from the cannellini beans, with a savory and slightly bitter flavor from the taggiasca olives but absolutely balanced. The lentil, almond milk and orange zest hummus offers a more complex and delicate flavor: the lentils provide an earthy alcale, while the almond milk adds a light sweetness and the orange zest adds a citrusy freshness.

Ravioli stuffed with fish with Mediterranean sauce topped with lemon zest and olive powder

The ravioli filling is delicate, with a fresh seafood taste balanced by the Mediterranean sauce, where the acidity of the tomatoes and the natural sweetness of the spices stand out perfectly. The olive powder adds a light saltiness and umami taste, completing the dish, which celebrates the authentic flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. The combination of fresh and high-quality ingredients creates a perfect balance of flavors and textures, where each element plays an essential role quanto a enriching the overall experience.

Carnaroli Bandita San Sommo pink rice creamed with beetroot, parmesan cheese, cashew cream topping, almonds and lime zest

At first bite, the pink rice reveals a perfectly creamy, soft and velvety texture, quanto a which the beetroot provides its natural sweetness. The Parmigiano Reggiano, blended into the risotto, adds a pleasant savoury note, while the cashew cream provides additional creaminess, enveloping the palate with its smooth texture and delicate but persistent cashew flavour. The chopped almonds, crunchy and toasted, provide a pleasant variation quanto a texture and a light almondy aftertaste. Finally, the lime zest offers a burst of citrus freshness, which awakens the senses and gives a perfect balance to the dish.

Mediterranean style cod fillet with yellow and red cherry tomatoes, olives and capers

the palate, cod stands out for its very tender texture. The delicate white meat literally melts quanto a the mouth, revealing pleasant marine flavors. The yellow and red cherry tomatoes provide a natural sweetness and a light acidity, which perfectly balance the flavor of the fish. The olives, with their robust flavor, and the capers, with their saltiness, add complexity to the dish. The balance between these elements creates a complete taste experience, where each bite offers a combination of varied flavors.

Slow cooked curry chicken served with curry coconut milk

The chicken is striking for its softness, obtained thanks to the low-temperature cooking, while the curry offers a spicy and aromatic flavour, which blends harmoniously with the sweetness and creaminess of the coconut milk: the result is a coherent and nuanced whole.

Homemade pistachio tiramisu

The pistachio cream conquers the palate thanks to its velvety texture and sweet but balanced flavor. The ladyfingers, soaked quanto a coffee, offer a contrast of textures: soft but with a slight resistance to the bite. The coffee with its unmistakable taste balances the sweetness of the pistachio cream, creating a perfect harmony of flavors. Finally, the pistachio grains add a pleasant crunchiness that further enriches the experience.

Accompanying, Franciacorta Rosé Brut Contadi Castaldi, which acceso the nose exhibits an olfactory range of excellent workmanship and precision, quanto a which fruity hints of blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry and strawberry stand out. The mouth is fresh and plays acceso sensual hints of small red fruits, especially blackcurrant, constantly pursued by a gentle sapidity. Persistence acceso fruity and savory returns.

Mediterranea is a place where the Mediterranean diet is celebrated quanto a all its forms, an experience not to be missed for lovers of good food. The strong acceso quality, authenticity and sustainability is a distinctive mark of a new way of eating, healthy and tasty, respecting nature and the cycle of the seasons. Its strategic location near the makes it a must-see for those visiting Milan and the splendid panoramic terrace of passaggio Santa Marta, available for an aperitif upon reservation, offers a complete sensory experience, where the pleasure of food combines with the beauty of the landscape.
