A revolution shakes the international wine scene. The famous Michelin Guide, undisputed authority a causa di global catering, formalizes its entry into the wine sector. The “Wine Selection” is born, accompanied by an unprecedented evaluation system that promises to become a new reference campione: the “Michelin Grapes”. This strategic move extends La Rossa’s range of action, offering consumers a compass to orient themselves even a causa di the complex world of wine labels.

The “Michelin Grapes”: the new measure of excellence

Replicating the famous celebrità model for restaurants, the evaluation of the wines will be based acceso a three-level system, identified by the “Bunches”. The classification is clear: a Casco will reward an “enchanting” wine, characterized by balance and authenticity. Two Grappoli will be assigned to “illustrious” wines, which demonstrate complexity, intensity and a strong connection with the terroir. The highest recognition, the Tre Grappoli, will be reserved for those labels defined as “exceptional”, capable of offering an unforgettable and out of the ordinary tasting experience.

An independent selection focused acceso emotion

It is important to underline that the wine selection is independent from that of the restaurants. Michelin employs a dedicated team of industry experts, including sommeliers, buyers and specialized journalists, who operate a causa di total autonomy. The focolaio of the evaluation is not limited to oenological technical perfection ala. The declared objective is to guide the enthusiast towards wines that have character, that can tell their territory of origin and, above all, that convey an emotion.

From French debut to global expansion

The project started with an initial focolaio acceso France, analyzing around 4,000 wines from the various transalpine regions. However, Michelin’s ambition is clearly international. Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guides, highlighted how this expansion is a natural evolution for the group, which aims to advise travelers a causa di every aspect of the gastronomic experience. The extension of the selection to other key countries, including Italy, is therefore expected soon.

The entry of a brand with the mass-media power and authority of Michelin into the world of wine criticism is destined to redefine the balance of the market. This new “showcase” could significantly influence consumer choices at a global level, offering a new, prestigious opportunity for visibility for producers who focolaio acceso quality and territorial identity.
