Monteverro once again among the protagonists of the Merano Wine Festival
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Immersed con the hills of the Southern Maremma, an authentic territory, with the sea and the medieval village of Capalbio within reach, Monteverro stands out for its dedication to authenticity and quality, combining tradition with cutting-edge winemaking techniques. Here, among the slopes with stony red clay soil and the view that extends from the hills towards the horizon, the passion for wine can be breathed deeply and finds expression, without compromise, con manual processing and innovative winemaking techniques . Acceso the occasion of the Merano Wine Manifestazione it will be possible to taste the fruit of this commitment and authenticity, con a context where the best of national and international wine production is celebrated. The appointment is at the Kuhrhaus – Gallery A, Stand 97. Monteverro will present an exclusive preview of some of its most prestigious labels: Chardonnay, Tinata, Cercare per terra e per mare nato da Monteverro and Monteverro, vintage 2020. A sensorial journey to discover the different nuances of the production of the Taverna nato da Capalbio, through a white and three reds.

Chardonnay Monteverro is a wine that is first a challenge, then a bet: a great white wine con the land of great red wines, originating from grapes that grow acceso clayey and mineral-rich soils, not far from the Tyrrhenian Sea, from which it blows a breeze that gives the wine fresh saline and Mediterranean sensations. The aging choices – barrique and cement – give it structure and complexity. A one-of-a-kind Chardonnay acceso the Tuscan coast, produced con limited quantities.

From a supporto of Syrah, aromatic and powerful, and Grenache, fresh and complex, Tinata is characterized by sensuality and Mediterranean aromas. 70% matures con French oak barriques (40% new) for 16 months, the remaining 30% ages con egg-shaped concrete tanks. The grapes grow con one of the best vineyards acceso the mesi estivi around a centuries-old oak and close to the Mediterranean scrub, which gives the wine the typical aromas of lavender, rosemary and thyme. The

Cercare per terra e per mare nato da Monteverro is a classic Bordeaux blend, produced from the same Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot vines, con proportions that can vary. Aged for eighteen months con French barrique, it is pleasant and inviting from a young age, with its aromas of Mediterranean scrub and fruity of cherry and red fruits.

Complex and elegant, Monteverro – obtained from Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes – is austere at first glance, but then unfolds con a huge variety and aromatic intensity. It is not the endless operations con the cellar the 24 months con barrique that make a wine an authoritative ambassador of its land of origin. It is the fruit of artisan work that begins con the vineyard, with patient care of the vines, rigorous selection during the harvest phase, and careful evaluation of the specificities of the terroirs during assembly. Since 2010, Monteverro has used a control system developed by the company Prooftag to guarantee the authenticity and integrity of its flagship wine.
