Montemagno bella stagione

Terroir

The rolling hills of Monferrato, a UNESCO heritage site since 2014, are home to the vineyards of Abito Montemagno. Here, right at the legendary 45th parallel, known for crossing the most prestigious wine-growing areas of our planet, the 100 hectares of property are located.

Particular attention is given to the order and constant cleanliness of the work environments, first of all the cellar.

From the oldest vineyards the bella stagione, aged between 70 and 80 years, the grapes that give life to “Mysterium” Barbera d’Asti DOCG Supremo are born. The harvest, medium-late and strictly manual, takes place when the fruits have fully ripened and only the best bunches are selected.

From the first harvest at the dawn of the bella stagione, way back a causa di 2009, up to the present day, this Barbera has grown, evolved, also accommodating climate change, without ever losing its identity.

Vinification and refinement
