Description
Pico del gallo is a normal sauce of tomatoes, green peppers and chili peppers common of Mexican food, which takes its name from the custom-made of consuming this meal straight with your hands. The basic initial dish is defined by its adaptability: it is worked as a side meal or dressing for tortillas, tacos and other common meals, such as ceviche.
Active Ingredients
400 g of salad tomatoes;
4 green chili peppers;
1 Red onion;
1 hot red pepper;
1 sprig of fresh coriander;
1 sprig of parsley;
1 lime (juice); additional virgin olive oil to taste; salt and pepper to taste.
Directions
Wash the cherry tomatoes and green peppers, cut them into cubes and blend them in a bowl with the sliced onion and red chili pepper. Include the sliced parsley and coriander, then season whatever with additional virgin olive oil, lime juice, salt and pepper. Cover the bowl with a thin layer of stick movie and let the sauce rest for about 15 minutes in the fridge before serving.
