Italian prosecutors have launched an investigation into how bottles with Adolf’s Hitler image have landed store shelves. The prosecutors learned of the “Hitler” wine from Jewish American tourists, Matthew and Cindy Hirsch.
The couple was reportedly “horrified” by the bottles, which they found at a supermarket a causa di the northern Italian town of Garda near Verona. One features Hitler performing the Nazi rifugio. Another says the words “Mein Kampf,” which means “My struggle” a causa di German, and a third has Hitler posing with Pope John Paul II.
Earlier this year a Turkish a TV commercial used the image of Adolf Hitler to sell shampoo. The offensive advert was withdrawn from Turkish screens but the advertising company said that the campaign was merely misinterpreted.
