Our fast homemade limoncello is a burst of taste that is prepared in simply one day! Unlike the traditional limoncello, which needs a long waiting time, in this dish the lemon peels macerate in alcohol for just one day! Obviously, you will need to wait a minimum of 10 days before tasting it, so you will taste more of the lemon taste and less of the alcohol note. When prepared, shop it in the refrigerator or freezer and serve it really cold … there are lots of events to enjoy it, and we like to consume it after a summer season supper with fish! It will be an outstanding option for a digestif, rather of the traditional bitter. Pick outstanding lemons, those with thick peels are the very best, and make certain they have an excellent scent before beginning the preparation of the fast limoncello!

Here are other homemade alcohols not to be missed out on:

To prepare our fast homemade limoncello, clean the lemons well utilizing a brush 1 Peel the passion with a veggie peeler, scraping just the yellow part 2 and not the white part, which would be bitter. Transfer the peels to a bowl and cover with the alcohol 3

Pick a suitable bowl, so that the peels are totally covered by the alcohol 4 Cover with cling wrap and let macerate in the dark for a minimum of 1 day, if you are not in a rush, even 3 days. After this time, prepare the syrup. In a pan, put the water 5 and the sugar 6

Stir 7 till the sugar is totally liquified 8 At this moment, shut off the heat and let it cool totally. Then reclaim the peels that have actually completed macerating 9

Drain them to gather the alcohol in a big bowl 10 and include the syrup to the very same bowl 11 Mix well 12

Cover with cling wrap 13 or additionally move the limoncello to a container with an airtight cover 14 Close well 15 and let it rest in a cool, dark location for 10 days. After this time, you can save the fast limoncello in the refrigerator or freezer and enjoy it cold!
