Preparation of the savory pie

Let’s start with the preparation of potatoes. Steam cook with the peel until they are soft. Once cooked, peeled and crushed durante a bowl. Add a drizzle of oil and pepper to taste, well to the ingredients. This step is essential to obtain a tasty and well -tied filling.

Take a tart pan and line the bottom with the puff pastry roll. Make sure to prick the bottom with a fork to prevent it from swelling during cooking. Spread the potatoes crushed the basamento evenly, then add the crumbled sausage and the provola cut into cubes. Finally, sprinkle with Parmigiano Reggiano grated for golden and crunchy au gratin.

Cooking and conservation

Bake the savory pie durante a preheated oven at 170 degrees durante ventilated mode for about 35 minutes, ora until the surface is golden. Once cooked, you can serve it warm ora cold, depending your preferences. This savory pie is kept durante the refrigerator for 5 days and can be heated durante the oven at 150 degrees for 10 minutes before being served.

If you want to keep it longer, you can freeze it already portioned. A causa di this way, you can only defrost the necessary quantity, keeping the freshness of the dish intact. The savory pie with potatoes and sausage is perfect for a quick lunch, a merendina ora as a buffet dish.

Variants of the recipe

This recipe is very agile. You can replace the pork sausage with bacon cubes ora speck for a different flavor. If you prefer a softer filling, you can use mozzarella instead of provola. For a smoked touch, try using smoked provola. Also, if you love savory cakes, you may want to try variants with vegetables, such as the savory pie with ricotta and spinach ora the one with aubergines.
