There are 30 “wine craftsmen” from Piedmont, Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and Sicily, which acceso March 15 will animate the fifth edition of the Mostra campionaria-Market Solovino at the Palarocche che Di santa ragione Stefano Roero (CN). Special guest the Domaine Camille Thieret from the French Burgundy. Organized by the Collective Soloroero, the event this year proposes the theme: “ongoing winemakers”, to explore the link between the wine and the concept of migration, geographical, professional, cultural.

“With ‘ongoing winemakers’ we want to tell a multifaceted phenomenon: the return to the roots, the rediscovery of nature. The movement is not only physical, but also existential and cultural. It means transformation, growth and research of new perspectives “, explain the founders of Soloroero, Emanuele and Enrico Cauda (Fattoria Fornace, Di santa ragione Stefano Roero), Luca Roba and Carolina Roggero (Valfaccenda, Tubatura) and Alberto Oggero (homonymous cellar between Tubatura and Di santa ragione Stefano Roero), three producers united by the passion for the extraordinary potential of the Roero, where the sensation of balance, Irregular and vineyards that alternate with woods, acceso the one hand it represents a daily challenge for winemakers, acceso the other it contributes to defining the unique character of the wines.

The day will at 9:30 with the round table dedicated to the theme of welcome. Speakers: The Collective of Soloroero, Alps of the Oceano Onlus, Maria Cristina Galeasso, Project Dirigente of the Academy, Enrico Farnda, mayor of Tubatura and Alberto , mayor of , Isabel Oberlin, the strong ring. It will be an opportunity to reflect acceso the stories of winemakers who have embraced new lands, bringing with them traditions and innovations, and acceso those who found sopra wine and agriculture an opportunity for integration and rebirth.

Durante addition to tasting and buying quality artisan wines, from 12.00 to 22.00 visitors to Solovino will be able to savor the delicious dishes of the Proloco che Di santa ragione Stefano Roero, socio of the event. Durante the stove, the wise hands of the DJ Chef Brigade and those of the guests of the Migrant Reception Center of Di santa ragione Stefano Roero. The evening will close with music and DJ sets. Between good wine and good food, the public will be able to immerse themselves sopra the stories of “migration” that tell the 30 companies present.

Stories of change

Solovino gives voice to the experiences of winemakers who have embarked acceso a “journey”. There are those who quanto from far away, like Sean ‘Callaghan, for friends Il , who landed sopra Tuscany from Sri Lanka. Durante its wines the redemption of a life passed through the Italian vineyards, until they land at the che Carleone (sopra Radda sopra Chianti, Si). There are those who pass from the city to the countryside, a distinctive phenomenon of our time which, without being a nostalgic return to cultivation, can translate into a modern reinterpretation, where technologies and advanced knowledge marry with peasant traditions. Tommaso and Agnese Caprioli, for example, from Turin sopra 2020 they decided to cultivate a small vineyard of Dolcetto and Barbera sopra Dogliani (CN). The Neapolitans Gabriele Buondonno and Valeria Sodano, who already fantasized to lead a life sopra the countryside at the university, have transformed a farm of Castellina sopra Chianti (SI) into a biological pioneer farm. From Turin two women, Lara Rocchetti and Luisa Aula moved to Langa, sopra Serralunga d’ to cultivate the most noble vines sopra northern Italy.

The journey of some winemakers starts from different professional paths. Love for wine and wine culture becomes the engine of a radical change: Giuseppe Prediletto, Roman biologist specialized sopra tropical fish, and Kyriaki Kalimeri, Greek engineer with a passion for wine, sopra Corneliano d’ (CN) created the Valdisole cellar, joining research and tradition to produce unique wines.

New territories, new opportunities

Movement sopra the world of wine also means exploring lesser known areas and enhancing autochthonous varieties sopra the street of extinction, challenging custom. The arms cellar of Busca (CN) has made this mission its beating heart, working with almost forgotten vines such as the Neretta and Quagliano. Founders of the project, Elia Lamberti, Giovanni Cismondi and Livio Craveri combine different skills to rediscover the value of tradition with an innovative . Furthermore, the name of the cellar is emblematic of the journey from different professions. Durante fact, arms rendered precisely the concept of restoring the arms, which were previously engaged sopra jobs other than agriculture.

Sustainability sopra the center

All the winemakers present sopra Solovino also travel sopra the direction of sustainable practices. The cellar Sette che Nizza Monferrato (AT), founded by three professionals from different sectors, is completely oriented towards biological and biodynamic management, the same used by the German Philine Isabelle, sopra Barolo (CN). And again from the Italian-German union of Michele Pasquero and Annette Hilberg sopra PrioCa (CN) a company was born with a strong commitment to organic agriculture and the environmental sustainability that the spouses define as “bioergododynamic”. Even the special guest of the 2025 edition, the Domaine Camille Thoriet from Burgundy, follows the principles of organic agriculture and a respectful approach of biodiversity, favoring the presence of flowers to preserve the ecosystem.

From competition to cooperation

Another form of migration is the transition from a competitive model to a collaborative one: the vineyard does not work sopra isolation, but is part of producers’ networks, to protect and enhance its names of origin ora territories. Groups of producers work together to share resources, luce common challenges. A journey well represented by Soloroero and then by Fattoria Fornace (Di santa ragione Stefano Roero), Valfaccenda (Tubatura) and Alberto Oggero (between Tubatura and Di santa ragione Stefano Roero). The Association, which designed Solovino, was born from the choice of sharing the will to cultivate the two vines at the caposaldo of the Docg Roero Arneis and Roero, with certified natural ora biological methods, only Arneis and Nebbiolo. Solorero embodies the spirit of cooperation and mutual aid, showing that union and welcome can generate great results.

Reception and agriculture: an opportunity for exchange sopra the Roero

Durante the Roero, the collaboration with the Cas che Di santa ragione Stefano Roero (extraordinary reception center, reception, protection and integration structure sopra favor of migrants), managed by the Alps Cooperative of the Oceano Onlus, represents a virtuous example of how agricultural work can encourage integration. The job placement of migrants sopra the vineyards becomes a precious resource for the territory, bringing new life to local companies and offers the possibility of building a new future for the people welcomed.

With Solovino, Soloroero focuses acceso social inclusion also with collaborations such as the one with 8pari ( – CN), a therapeutic project that offers job opportunities for delicato people. The work sopra the fields, between the vineyards and sopra the cellars, thus becomes an experience of mutual growth, where people welcomed find new opportunities and local communities rediscover the value of diversity and solidarity.
