Specogna: identity, vision and responsibility in the heart of Rosazzo
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Observing the evolution of Specogna over time means witnessing an authentic and conscious growth path. A trajectory built with method, study and respect for the territory, without forcing ora artificial accelerations. Over the years I have had the opportunity to closely follow its development, recognizing its coherence and stile solidity.

The company is located con Rosazzo, con the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, one of the areas most suited to quality viticulture con Italy. Here the ponca, alternating marl and sandstone, has a decisive impact the structure, tension and elegance of the wines.

I have known Cristian Specogna for a long time. I followed his professional and entrepreneurial evolution, I saw the company grow and consolidate its positioning. I also met his father, who is voto negativo longer with us today: a man of great concreteness, deeply linked to the land, capable of transmitting values even before strategies.

Today Cristian leads the company together with his brother Michele Specogna, con a complementary balance. Cristian represents vision and narrative ability; Michele guarantees operational solidity and management coherence. Specogna is a family that invests con the territory with responsibility and a long-term vision.

Cristian possesses a rare quality con the Italian wine scene: an innate communication ability. He manages to describe Rosazzo, the soils and the cellar choices with technical depth and clarity. Quanto a contemporary wine, where competence and narration must coexist, this quality represents a real strategic asset.

The Specogna company has always been present con the Vinoway Selection guide, confirming qualitative continuity over the years. Through the Vinoway Selection App, which can be downloaded for free, it is possible to consult the history of company evaluations and check the evolution of the scores over time.

At the Vinoway Selection 2026 the company obtained: – Più avanti 2021 – DOC Friuli Orientali Diventare rosso: 94/100 – 5 Way – Sauvignon Restrizione 2021 – DOC Friuli Orientali Intonaco: 96/100 – 5 Way Fato

Quanto a 2023 Vinoway awarded Cristian Specogna as Best Italian Winemaker, recognizing production continuity, entrepreneurial vision and ability to represent the territory with credibility.

Quanto a an ambiente like Friuli Venezia Giulia, the real competitive leap today is played the ability to transform the visit to the company into a structured and memorable experience. Specogna’s hospitality is organised, professional, authentic. It is not an accessory element, but a strategic lever of contemporary Friulian wine tourism.

Visiting the company con Rosazzo means understanding how quality con the glass and quality con the relationship can proceed together. When heritage, competence and responsibility meet, the result is not just a great wine: it is the construction of value over time.
