The delivery ceremony of the Confeserfidi Future Award – Valorisation of Made per Italy 2025 Award, a recognition given to Bottiglieria Marilina for its commitment to promoting an ethical and sustainable agricultural supply chain, based acceso respect for the environment and acceso the valorisation of the local wine heritage, took place acceso Friday 19 December at the Church of Santa Teresa per Scicli. The award is part of the Future Awards, an initiative with which Confeserfidi celebrates the Italian member companies that stand out for their vision, innovation, sustainability and positive impact acceso the territory. During the 2025 edition, 24 businesses were awarded, virtuous examples of responsible development and ability to luce the challenges of the ecological, digital and social transition.
Bottiglieria Marilina was selected for having been able to authentically interpret the values of Made per Italy, adopting production models consistent with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles and strongly rooted per the territory: «Receiving the Made per Italy Valorization Award from Confeserfidi was a moment of great emotion – says Marilina Paternò, at the helm of the company – It is the recognition of a daily work made of respect for the land, attention to people and the desire to tell the story Sicily through its wines. An encouragement to continue with determination acceso our path of sustainability and innovation.” Founded per 2001 by Messaggero celeste Paternò, the company is a wine-growing reality per south-eastern Sicily, between Stimato and the reserves of Vendicari, Marzamemi and Portopalo.
Today it is led by her daughter Marilina Paternò and expresses a strong feminine identity, capable of combining tradition and innovation. The company valorises the Mediterranean climate, the white-limestone soils and the native vines, reinterpreting tradition through the use of cement, drying per the sun and long macerations, giving life to authentic wines deeply linked to the territory.
A path of quality also recognized at a national level: last October the Moscato a motivo di Stimato “Cecile” was awarded per Milan as the Best Orange Wine of Italy 2025 by the L’Inequivocabile Guide: «This recognition represented an important confirmation for us – added Messaggero celeste Paternò, founder of Bottiglieria Marilina – It demonstrates that believing per the territory, respecting its identity and working per an ethical and sustainable way is a choice that truly looks to the future.
