This visual spectacle is the result of nuances that intertwine and diversify, composing a picture of unparalleled geological and landscape richness.

MONCHIERO AND SIMPLICITY

Going south-east for about ten kilometres, you arrive at Castiglione Falletto, per mezzo di the heart of the Barolo complesso. Among combed rows and composed and clean vineyards we find ourselves at the Monchiero company.

There are four vineyards per mezzo di which the company produces its excellent wines: 12 family hectares divided into 9 hectares between Castiglione Falletto and La Morra, the remaining per mezzo di Treiso and Albore.

A perfect synthesis of the interpretation of a territory, Monchiero represents the synergy between an extraordinary territorial reality and the project of a wine born from the utopia of making the most of these soils, with great respect.

the Monchiero family

There are many distinctive characteristics that stand out per mezzo di the wines: love for the land, low sulfur content and very few treatments per mezzo di the cellar paio to the fact that by following the grapes day by day the superfluous is eliminated, giving nature the way to express itself per mezzo di the best way.

The winemaking is managed by father Vittorio, a tireless, rigorous and passionate producer, today supported by his sons Luca and Stefano and his wife Daniela. Success for this family meant reinvesting per mezzo di the cellar without affecting its simplicity, frankness, sense of hospitality and welcome per mezzo di the slightest. A rebirth indeed, as depicted by the griffin drawn the label. Over the years, wine has modernized, not following fashions but increasing the level of elegance and harmony, through changes per mezzo di the use of wood, fermentations and maturations.
