At sundown, tastings on the beach of Miliscola

The Flegrean white wines, their history and their tomorrow, at the center of the 2nd edition of Terroir Campi Flegrei, at sundown, Monday 17 June 2024 at the Lido Turistico on the Miliscola beach, in Bacoli.

The spotlight is on Falanghina and Piedirosso of the Campi Flegrei DOC, which this year commemorates thirty years because its facility.

There are 2 primary minutes at Terroir Campi Flegrei: at 6.00 pm we begin with a workshop led by the reporter Antonella Amodio, scheduled for experts, with the tasting of old vintages to study their qualitative development; followed by a contrast in between volcanic areas, Campi Flegrei and Etna. Speakers will consist of the oenologists Gerardo Vernazzaro and Rita Martino, the white wine expert Pino Savoia and Giannantonio Scotto di Vetta, maître.

From 8.00 pm, tasting stands, with sixteen wineries from every corner of the Campi Flegrei, focused on experts in the sector, white wine lovers and anybody who wishes to get closer to the culture of white wine. A chance to taste various expressions of Falanghina and Piedirosso, to construct your own tasting experience. Concentrate on the area likewise from a gastronomic viewpoint, with the pairing of white wines with developments developed by around thirty regional interpreters, such as chefs, pizza chefs, pastry chefs and gastronomes.

The Flegrean white wines, fantastic ambassadors of the area, will be the lead characters of the occasion: those natural and anthropic aspects that add to making them special will be checked out: identity and history that equate into the structure of the land, the environment, the direct exposure, the research study and the strategies of breeding, customs and customizeds. A concentrate of terroir.
