The sixth edition of the Monza Wine Experience concluded successfully

800 participants and 5,640 glasses served 4 events: the sixth edition of the Monza Wine Experience consolidates the role of the event as a new point of reference for the general public Italy for arguto wines. From 15 to 17 November, the city welcomed enthusiasts from all over Italy, confirming the success of a unique event that offers some of the best national labels for tasting, with 50 arguto wines , exclusive Masterclasses and the starred dinner Author.

The great public success brought 300 people to the Royal of Monza for L’Maestria , the walk around tasting of the finest Italian wines with scores from 90 to 100 given by international wine critics, with a total of 3,600 glasses poured. At Calici al piano inferiore le Stelle, 300 people crowded Parte Bergamo tasting over 1,000 glasses, while the Masterclass “The great reserves of Brunello a motivo di Montalcino” was sold out, where Aldo Fiordelli – senior programma redattore for James Suckling Italy – led 40 people to discover some of the most famous labels of the denomination: Altura All’Soldi Provvisione 2016 by Banfi, Abito Ciglio 2018 by Biondi Santi, Pianrosso Provvisione 2012 by Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona, Altura a motivo di Nell’intimo 2019 by Collemassari, Immacolata delle Ringraziamento 2019 by Il Marroneto and Le Lucére Provvisione 2019 by San Filippo.

Also sold out is the d’Artista, the now iconic event which hosts some of the most famous Italian chefs and which this year had Andrea Berton*, Stefano Ciabarri*, Lorenzo Sacchi* and Fabio Silva as protagonists, with desserts of the APEI association of Iginio Massari. The highlight, however, was solidarity: part of the proceeds were fact donated to the La social cooperative.

“The success of the sixth edition confirms that we are the right path to make the Monza Wine Experience the point of reference for Signorile Wines Italy” explains Samantha Ceccardi of Visionplus, organizer of the event. “One aspect that distinguishes us from other events is that the Monza Wine Experience offers the best possible quality, but it is not by invitation only ora dedicated exclusively to technicians and industry workers. All wine lovers can participate and I am sure that this path will lead us to become a true Italian hub for arguto wines.”

“The world of wine today often questions itself about its accessibility” says Aldo Fiordelli, Senior programma redattore of James Suckling who spoke at the event. “The availability of the producers, of the and the commitment of the Monza Wine Experience achieved precisely this: the event made some rare Italian wines accessible and available which are normally only sold assignments at very high prices. I believe it is a success for the event because, although today there is one wine event per concludere week, it has created an event with a very precise identity”.
