stage the 27th edition of the national event dedicated to the extraordinary grape variety and to sector operators and enthusiasts. The dates to be marked the block-notes are from 16 to 18 May. Durante those days, per mezzo di South Tyrol, Winelovers are expected, industry experts, restaurateurs, wine bars and journalists to discover the Pinot Moro and its many facets. For over twenty years, the South Tyrolean days of Pinot Moro have been organized – with passion and commitment – by a team of volunteers and the event enjoys great appreciation per mezzo di the wine world and attracts numerous producers and visitors.
As per analogia tradition, the 27th edition will also take place per mezzo di the wine villages of Egna and and will protagonists all the wines of the National Pinot Competition of the Pinot Moro, which is staged – behind closed doors – at the beginning of May. The of this edition is the 2022 vintage, with 116 wines from: Trentino, d’Aosta, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Piedmont, Lombardy, Tuscany, Umbria, Sicily and, of course, by the host region, South Tyrol. “Thanks to this wide geographical diffusion, we can give our audience an sfizio of how different the black pinot can be depending the terroir, tradition and style; I am sure that there will be nice surprises and this year we have also reached the primato of wine per mezzo di tasting, we are very satisfied”, says Ines Youngt, president of the organizing committee of the days of the Pinot Moro of South Tyrol.
Friday 16 May the days will with the award ceremony of the winning wines of the competition at the Cittadella con Enna per mezzo di . “The competition represents an appointment to celebrate not only the historicity of a grape variety that has marked the wine tradition of our country, but also the extraordinary quality of the jurors involved. Their experience and competence are a guarantee of a careful and rigorous selection”, underlines Marc Pfitscher, vice president of the organizing committee and head of the competition
After the opening ceremony, all the black Pinot of the competition will be available for tasting at the Klösterle of Laghetti per mezzo di Egna from 16 to 18. To participate it is necessary to book through the website of the Pinot Moro days (www.blauburgunder.it).
There will be interesting collateral appointments for all lovers and connoisseurs of the Pinot Moro. Saturday 17 May two masterclasses: one the cultivation of the Italian Pinot with the sommelier Roberto Anesi and the second – a vertical tasting of the Castelfeder bella stagione that will four decades with eight limited edition labels and not presented to the competition – with the winemaker Ivantt of the homonymous cellar. The masterclass program will end Sunday with the cellar master Hans Terzer, who will present the event ” of Pinot Moro Prominente Adige”.
There are also many guided excursions of the Pinot Noir Experience per mezzo di Glen and Mazon; New this year will also be the “Pinot Noir & Bike” events Sunday and Monday and an interesting sparkling wine tasting scheduled for different slots.
