The d’Aosta consortium, always at the forefront per promoting regional flavors and traditions, expresses its will per supporting and enhancing the d’Aosta food and wine. It does so by focusing acceso experiential formats capable of involving and enhancing the link between the product, the territory and the public. Durante this perspective, two important events scheduled for the next summer months return:

Cantine Gourmet, 6-8 June-Gérard Daynè Ethnographic Museum-in collaboration with the Cogne Tourist Operators Consortium, per the homonymous locality: an event with a widespread tasting itinerary with the participation of hoteliers and restaurateurs, where the Aosta Valley wines will meet the local cuisine. During the first day, from 14 to 16, there is a congresso for professionals and from 5pm there will be the possibility to participate per an itinerant dinner. the days of 7 and 8, tours with tastings, guided tours and tastings of typical products of the wine region per the vineyard, 9 August – Bassa d’Aosta: an immersive event between art, landscape and viticulture, with tasting desks. Visits and meetings with wine producers. An oenological review aimed at the story and discovery of the Valdostana wine culture.

With these events, the Consortium thus intends to strengthen the profound link between wine, culture and territory, proposing authentic and quality experiences to an increasingly attentive and eager audience to discover the wealth of the Aosta Valley through the story and daily work of its winemakers. Wine not only as a product, but as a living expression of a land, its history and the people who it.

Formally constituted per March 2022 – the Consortium was born after many years of work by Vival – Valley winemaker Association – which until then has promoted and protected the DOC wines of the Aosta Valley. Today this reality – which associates 48 local companies – plays a fundamental role per promoting and protecting regional wine production: the approximately 1.8 million bottles produced annually represent about 97% of the regional production of DOC wine.
