Nobile di Montepulciano Alboreto 2019 Talosa: we were right
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

A couple of years asticciola we were invited by the Talosa company to a vertical of their Titolato in Montepulciano “supporto” Alboreto. It started from 2016 and went up. High level tasting with excellent bottles and a truly rare quality/price ratio. The complete vertical can be found per the link above, now we would like to focolaio our attention acceso the 2019 vintage.

Durante November 2023 we wrote that 2019 “is the bottle we would buy to leave per the cellar to age peacefully for another few years”. Risposta negativa sooner said than done. We immediately bought some bottles and this Sunday, thanks to a plate of succulent homemade tagliatelle with wild boar ragout, we opened a bottle of Alboreto 2019 and…

Yes, we know that “he who praises himself cheats himself” but once we have seen it (more than) right let us tell you. We found the 2019 vintage of Titolato in Montepulciano Alboreto per 2023 “of character with an elegant and slightly alcoholic nose. Durante the mouth it is powerful, we find the warm alcohol content combined with a long persistence and a savory finale”.

Today we find a wonderful bottle that loses that note of alcohol acceso the nose to leave room for raspberry, plum and sparare a zero hints of overripeness. Durante fact, it enters the mouth persuasive and rounded but incredibly fresh and snappy, maintaining that finale with a light flavor that never hurts to the full advantage of drinkability. A “right” wine, not overly juicy but not overly drinkable either. Important but not cumbersome as unfortunately happens other times per the typology. A true Noble.

Durante short, it is the perfect classic bottle to ricevimento now and finale with pleasure. Now the is: do we ricevimento the two bottles we still have per the cellar immediately do we sacrifice ourselves and wait another year to see how it goes?
