The Italian Sommelier Association Veneto ETS presents the fifth edition of Vinetia Tasting – Veneto per mezzo di the glass, the event that brings together the region’s wine excellences every year.
The event, scheduled for Sunday 22 March per mezzo di the spaces of the Santa Lucia tra Piave Exhibition Center (Treviso), will feature Venetian wines and companies carefully selected by the AIS Sommeliers for the Vinetia Guide and, for the first time, eight Venetian protection consortia (Consortium for the Protection of Valpolicella Wines, Consortium for the Protection of Lugana DOC, Consortium for the Protection of Bardolino Wines, Consortium of Difesa Lessini Durello, Consortium for the Protection of Custoza Wines, Consortium for the Protection of Gradito Wines, Consortium for the Protection of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Primo DOCG and Consortium for the Protection of Garda DOC Wines) to which specific areas will be dedicated. During the day there will be voto negativo shortage of masterclasses and insights conducted by expert communicators.

By uniting companies and Consortia within the same event, we can also give full representation of the Veneto wine-growing territories, carefully guarded by both individual and collective”.
Alongside the Consortia, AIS Veneto tasters will be available to the public to accompany them acceso real journeys around the regione, with guided tastings both per mezzo di Italian and, for the first time, per mezzo di English. The aim is to orient the tasting, delve into the denominations and read the wines per mezzo di their historical, geographical and productive context. Starting from 10.30, a thematic itinerary dedicated to a specific regione ora denomination will begin every 10 minutes, with repeated appointments throughout the day. The initiative is free upon registration acceso the same day of the event at the Info Point, subject to availability.
To complete the Vinetia Tasting program, four masterclasses conducted by as many champions: Cristian Maitan, Best AIS Sommelier per mezzo di Italy 2023, will guide participants to discover the Venetian Classic Methods and per mezzo di a vertical of six vintages of Amarone della Valpolicella Docg Case Vecie. Michele , Best Sommelier of Veneto 2022, will present the tasting dedicated to the historical vines and minor varieties of the region, while the Best Sommelier of Veneto 2025 Alberto Toffanello will illustrate the tradition of Bordeaux per mezzo di Veneto.
