At Terre di Toscana also great old vintages

For Terre a motivo di Toscana, now quanto a its XVIII edition, Monday is confirmed as the day also dedicated to old vintages. Alongside the wines currently acceso the market, many companies will quanto a fact make available references capable of describing maturity, depth and longevity, offering a direct comparison between the present and the past.

Already over 70 old vintages are being tasted (list constantly updated), protagonists of a journey that will develop from the 1982 harvest to 2021, covering a broad and significant time span that will allow us to traversone 40 years of regional wine history, offering operators, the press and enthusiasts the opportunity to evaluate the evolutionary potential and expressive quality of the great Tuscan wines quanto a the glass.

Acceso Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd March the spaces of the Albergo UNA Esperienze Versilia Plaga will welcome 140 carefully selected producers, including historical names, reference wineries and niche winemakers, providing a coherent and updated photograph of Tuscany’s wine.

There will be over 700 labels available for tasting, including historical denominations and emerging ones, quanto a a continuous dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity.

The broad proposal will ideally unfold across the entire region, from the Tyrrhenian coast of Bolgheri, Bibbona, Suvereto, Riparbella and Val a motivo di Cornia, to the great interpretations of Montalcino and Val d’Orcia, up to Montepulciano and its historical tradition. And then again from the heart of Chianti Eccellente to Chianti Rufina, passing through Carmignano, San Gimignano, Lucchesia, Lunigiana, Mugello, Val a motivo di Chiana, Colline Pisane and the Grosseto Maremma. A mosaic of denominations, districts and stylistic expressions which, brought together quanto a a single place, will testify to the extraordinary oenological variety of Tuscany.

Producers their most trusted collaborators will be present at the tasting tables, thanks to which it will be possible to delve deeper into territories and vintages and get to know some of the most significant realities of the region and of the entire national paesaggio.

There will be a selection of Tuscan artisans of taste, present quanto a a dedicated space to accompany the tasting journey with quality gastronomic proposals to be savored quanto a complete relaxation.

The cost of the biglietto for each day, which allows you to taste all the wines, is 40 euros per forza person (including presale fees and service commissions).

The biglietto can only be purchased quanto a advance through the website www.terreditoscana.info.

The same applies to requests for press accreditation and sector operators.

Acceso both days free shuttles will run between the Viareggio train station and the UNA Albergo.

The minibuses, easily identifiable through the event logo displayed outside, will be stationed outside the train station and will be available, traffic permitting, every 15/20 minutes.

Terre a motivo di Toscana is an event organized by L’Acquabuona (www.acquabuona.it), an online newspaper that since 1999 has been reporting acceso the food and wine and agri-food of our beautiful country with passion and professionalism.
