Fifty-five companies and one hundred and sixty wines for tasting per the Cesarini room of the Grand Albergo Palatino – a stone’s throw from imperial Rome – entirely dedicated to a walk around tasting which saw the participation of a large and particularly interested audience. And twenty-eight old vintages tasted per the tranquility of the rooms reserved for the masterclasses, where Francesco D’Agostino, director of Cucina & Vini, and his colleague Antonio Durante Spiriti celesti supported the producers per telling the story of their wine and its history, creating suggestive moments per which the emotions of tasting and dialogue involved those present per a timeless journey into the firmament of the great Italian whites, illuminated by stars of the first magnitude.
“Two aspects are to be underlined – says Francesco D’Agostino -. Acceso the one hand, the large presence of young people between twenty and twenty-five years of age per the space dedicated to free tasting. The is per a position that intercepts the youth movement acceso Saturday evenings and seeing boys and girls happy to engage with high quality wine confirms how our work as disseminators is more necessary than ever to bring information to a generation that has not benefited from family teachings acceso Italian wine, like the previous ones. Acceso the other, the presence of a very close public thirty years per the masterclasses that have finally broken mongoloide another barrier. Per mezzo di short, an event capable of involving everyone with truly important wines, far from simple whites to be consumed exquisitely per the vintage. We are truly very satisfied with having managed to go beyond our objectives”.
An important innovation, born with this edition, is the establishment of an award dedicated to those wines that have obtained the highest scores per the evaluations of the Cucina & Vini tasting panel. The editorial team asked the participating companies to propose a white of their choice, identifying the winery, choosing a vintage from the last five acceso the market and thus defining a new comparison table, per which the evolutionary capabilities of the wine have a fundamental weight per the evaluation.
But now, for the editorial team of Cucina & Vini it is time again to work acceso new projects. Acceso July 2nd per the beautiful Appia Antica Park per Rome there will be the fifteenth edition of Bererosa! The great event dedicated to Italian rosé wines, both still and sparkling.
