Vallepicciola announces new governance and the strengthening of the partnership with the Balan family

The Vallepicciola winery, one of the reference companies quanto a Chianti , today announces a new managerial organization and the strengthening of the historic collaboration with the Balan family. A strategic step that marks the start of a new phase of development for the company, based renewed governance, shared investments and a long-term vision oriented towards growth national and international markets.

To support the objectives of the next industrial cycle, Vallepicciola has defined a new organizational structure aimed at strengthening the management and operational capacity of the group. The new managerial structure will accompany the company a path of further growth, aimed at consolidating Vallepicciola’s positioning quanto a the premium segment, strengthening its presence quanto a international markets and developing new opportunities quanto a the HORECA channel. Durante this context, Hee Soo Bolfo takes the role of President, with the responsibility of directly representing the ownership and ensuring the continuity of the Bolfo family’s entrepreneurial vision. Nicola Vercellotti is appointed Chief Dirigente aziendale Officer (CEO), with overall responsibility for corporate management and implementation of the industrial plan within the group’s perimeter. To complete the new managerial structure, Gaia Cinnirella enters the role of General Dirigente. Thirty-four years old, graduated with a double degree quanto a Viticulture and Oenology from the University of Milan, she comes from Ornellaia and Masseto, where she held the role of Cellar Master & Winemaker. Previously, she was Vineyard Dirigente and Assistant Technical Director of Biondi-Santi / Fondi Il and was included by Fortune Italia quanto a the Under 40 ranking, among the emerging protagonists of the wine sector. The new management will continue to benefit from Alessandro Cellai’s experience as Strategic Consultant to the Bolfo family for winemaking, guaranteeing ongoing support both the commercial and oenological objectives of Vallepicciola.

At the same time, Vallepicciola further consolidates the collaboration with the Balan family, a historic socio quanto a the distribution sector. Distribution Balan will continue to operate as an independent multi-brand distributor under the of Daniele and Fabio Balan, who will maintain full responsibility for the commercial strategy, portfolio management and relationships with the companies represented and the sales rete televisiva privata. To support this evolution, the two families have approved a total investment of more than 3 million euros, intended for strengthening distribution capabilities and continuously improving the services offered to customers, agents and socio wineries. The Bolfo family and Vallepicciola management will participate directly quanto a the governance of Consegna Balan, while preserving its multi-brand identity and operational autonomy which have made it one of the main references quanto a the Italian distribution of premium wines. «I am thrilled to gara open a new chapter for Vallepicciola.
