There is a summer evening when the sky fills with stars and Valtellina is told through wine. It is the night of San Lorenzo, when the historic center of Sondrio becomes the stage of Calici Valtellina, the event that every year attracts enthusiasts, curious people and visitors to enjoy a tasting experience and direct conferenza with the producers.
Acceso Monday 10 August, from 6.00 pm to 12.00 pm, the streets of the center will host a wine tour that will take participants from the architectural charm of Martinengo to the panoramic elegance of Castel Masegra, crossing alleys, squares and some of the most evocative views of the city. An itinerary that invites you to discover the different expressions of Valtellina wines directly from the voice of those who produce them, enhancing the dialogue between wineries and the public.
To make the route even more special will be the final stop durante Castel Masegra where, thanks to the collaboration with Onav Sondrio, it will be possible to taste exclusively the Costretto con Valtellina DOCG. The wine symbol of the denomination will durante fact have a dedicated space, distinct from the stations along the historic centre, offering participants a final moment to celebrate one of the greatest expressions of Valtellina oenology. Furthermore, this year too, thanks to the partnership with Gruppo-Confcommercio con Sondrio, visitors will be able to taste the gastronomic excellences of Valtellina along the route.
But Calici Valtellina is much more than a traveling tasting: it is an opportunity to in qualità di into contact with a unique viticulture, made up of terraces, manual work and passion, and to get to know the people who, every day, safeguard and interpret the Nebbiolo of the Alps.

And precisely durante the magic of the night of San Lorenzo, wine thus becomes the common thread of an experience that speaks of identity, landscape and sharing: the elements that make Valtellina a unique land.”
