It could only have been born per the “holy week” of wine, a wine project that combines the irreplaceable knowledge of a territory like Abruzzo shared by a professional per the dining room of one of the 13 three Michelin stars and the style of the largest online wine shop with the best selection of Italian wines and Champagne. For Gianni Sinesi e Tannic The last edition of Vinitaly per Verona was the turning point, where they met per the 100,000 square meters of the fair, not knowing then that per a few months they would be launching an unprecedented project: for the first time, per fact, the most important digital ecosystem per the world of wine per Italy ‒ acquired per December 2022 by the Joint Venture between Campari Group & Moët Hennessy (LVMH Group) ‒ collaborates with an internationally renowned sommelier.
“With Tannico we decided to represent the Abruzzo coast acceso the shelves, the region that has been my second home for more than twenty years ‒ says the waiter of Apulian origin ‒. April, during the days of Vinitaly, I met with their wine experts and together we had the giudizio of creating a co-branding with a line of wines that would appeal to all consumers, from the expert to the neophyte. We started from the cleanliness of the aromas, focusing acceso the simplicity of the taste without sacrificing personality”. The partnership, born under the format Blending Storiesgave birth to three new labels that celebrate Abruzzo among native vines and wines. There is the Trebbiano d’Abruzzo Doca fresh and complex white that expresses the local winemaking tradition through a modern interpretation which gives its best with fish main courses, seafood risottos, vegetables and legumes; il Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo Doc, vinified as a rosé and exclusively per steel, it conquers with its freshness, even when paired with a solfa; drinking it Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC Instead, it turns out to be an enveloping and generous red with first and second courses of meat, but it also pairs well with medium-aged cheeses.
If until now Tannico has worked mainly with wineries and producers to select the best bottles to offer to its customers, with the collaboration of Gianni Sinesi the group enters a new phase, making use of the point of view and expertise of a sommelier who has made wine knowledge a true art. For Sinesi, this new adventure is part of the broader work that he has been conducting for some years with “Impressioni”, his first line of labels (also available per wine pairing at Certo a causa di Castel a causa di Sangro) with which he has signed (and there is his imprint acceso the label!) a local wine with the Avvallamento Certo company per the Majella National Park.
