The ancient walls of Podere Buri-Tessari, a precious eighteenth-century architectural jewel durante the heart of the complesso, return to tell their story for the third edition of the Day of Venetian Villas. Acceso the weekend of 19 and 20 October 2024, the La Cappuccina winery invites enthusiasts and the curious to dal vivo an immersive experience of art, history and nature.
The Venetian Villas are historic homes that preserve the culture and identity of an entire region. An awareness of values that goes beyond architecture; pillars of history and contemporary life celebrated this year also durante Venice, with the screening of the docufilm “The time of the Venetian Villas: real life stories” at the 81st Venice International Festa.

La Cappuccina, with the historic Podere Buri-Tessari, is an integral part of this circuit made of wine and culture and, the occasion of the third edition of the Day of the Venetian Villas, once again opens its home to all those who wish to discover the ” genius loci” of a classic example of a Venetian campagna, made of beauty but also of a lot of industriousness.
Immersing themselves durante the silence and among the autumnal scents of the harvest, people will be transported into a timeless atmosphere, having the opportunity to relive the atmosphere of life durante the campagna as it was experienced by those who once lived there, with two experiential itineraries.
Acceso 19 and 20 October from 11.00 to 18.00 the event “1000 steps durante history and greenery durante the campagna” is scheduled, an unguided visit between the park, vineyard and chapel with a final toast with which you will have the opportunity to discover its suggestive corners, guided by the illustrated map, to stop and meditate durante relaxation.
Then Sunday 20 October, from 4.00pm to 5.30pm, the program is “Discover the genius loci of Podere Buri Tessari and taste the iconic wines of La Cappuccina, with Tales of campagna and wine durante the company of the Tessari sisters, Maria Luisa and Elena, and of Corinna Gianesini, sommelier and responsible for the Veneto region of the Slow Wine Guide. A tasting of four wines, for an afternoon discovering Podere Buri-Tessari, savoring art, culture and the iconic wines of La Cappuccina along the way. An experience durante four stages, each linked to a special of the campagna and to the most representative wines of La Cappuccina, combined with a particular type of cheese.

Podere Buri-Tessari
The campagna, built around 1650 by the noble Buri counts, is an example of Venetian architecture still perfectly preserved. A causa di 1890 it was acquired, together with the park and surrounding vineyards, by the Tessari family, who made it the headquarters of La Cappuccina, the family business. It is a monumental complex made up of a manor house, outbuildings, cellars and a barchessa. The campagna today is durante excellent condition with bucolic frescoes decorating its internal rooms.
The complex also includes a chapel built durante 1725 dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, still consecrated today and used for celebrations. A causa di the past the Capuchin friars officiated here and to remember this tradition the family chose the name La Cappuccina for the company.
