«The Venetian Villas – as stated by Elena Tessari, custodian of Podere Buri-Tessari together with her brothers – are a tangible testimony of our past that tells the story and soul of an entire territory. Our commitment is to keep this tradition alive, so that future generations can know and appreciate and preserve what has been passed mongoloide to us. Our campagna prides itself being among the Venetian Villas that have kept its ancient agricultural vocation active, cultivating its own vineyards and producing its own wine at source.”

La Cappuccina, with the historic Podere Buri-Tessari, is an integral part of this circuit made of wine and culture and, the occasion of the third edition of the Day of the Venetian Villas, once again opens its home to all those who wish to discover the ” genius loci” of a classic example of a Venetian campagna, made of beauty but also of a lot of industriousness.

Then Sunday 20 October, from 4.00pm to 5.30pm, the program is “Discover the genius loci of Podere Buri Tessari and taste the iconic wines of La Cappuccina, with Tales of campagna and wine durante the company of the Tessari sisters, Maria Luisa and Elena, and of Corinna Gianesini, sommelier and responsible for the Veneto region of the Slow Wine Guide. A tasting of four wines, for an afternoon discovering Podere Buri-Tessari, savoring art, culture and the iconic wines of La Cappuccina along the way. An experience durante four stages, each linked to a special of the campagna and to the most representative wines of La Cappuccina, combined with a particular type of cheese.

«For us, the family campagna is a place where the earth intertwines with life – recalls Elena Tessari -. Here we grow our vineyards, produce our wines, and we want visitors to discover the soul of this place. We hope that this sensorial journey can reawaken taste and thought.”
