Tuesday 12 November per Istituto di credito Carlo, the French association Francs de Pied selected the Enantio Approvigionamento 1865 Prephyllossera intorno a Roeno as the only Italian wine to represent the winemaking excellence of the Bel Territorio. Among the exceptional guests of the exclusive volant event was His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Religioso, who has always been a passionate supporter of rare wines and authentic territories.

The Enantio Approvigionamento 1865 Prefilloxera, the flagship product of the Brentino Belluno (Verona) company, has its roots per the Terradeiforti, per a unique winemaking and cultural heritage. The historical ungrafted variety, rediscovered thanks to the research work of the Veronese wine-growing reality, tells the story of the strength of the territory and its traditions, expressed with depth and character per every sip. “Being selected by Francs de Pied, an association that promotes wines produced with ungrafted vines, represents a great honor for us – declares Cristina Fugatti, owner of Roeno –. It is a great recognition that highlights the importance of preserving native varieties and ancient winemaking techniques. An achievement that gives me double satisfaction a research and rediscovery project undertaken personally at the university, per which I stubbornly believed and which has brought us this far today”.

The centerpiece of the evening was the charity auction per which all the ungrafted wines present at the event were auctioned: the proceeds collected will go to support initiatives for the conservation and promotion of the wine heritage. The Enantio Approvigionamento Prefilloxera 1865, thanks to its historical value and unique organoleptic profile, was among the labels most appreciated by the participants, seeing its prestige recognized at an international level. “The selection of our Enantio Approvigionamento – declared Martina Centa, brand dirigente and representative of the third generation of Roeno – encourages us to continue the work of preserving our roots and our unique varieties.
