The first major food and wine event of the year Italy returns to Siena from 25 to 27 January: it is Wine&Siena, the event promoted by the patron of the Merano WineFestival, Helmuth Köcher, and the president of Confcommercio Siena, Stefano Bernardini. An event that for ten years has marked the union between art and food and wine culture the historic rooms of the Santa Maria della Serie complex. Over 150 Italian food and wine companies including wine, food, spirits and beer, carefully selected by The WineHunter Guide, will be the protagonists of this tenth edition, which is completed with masterclasses, seminars, events, including the WineHunter Talks, thematic insights related to the food and wine world and the challenge of sustainability, and the calendar of Di fuori Wine&Siena initiatives.
Wine&Siena’s 2025 Taccuino
The 2025 edition of Wine&Siena begins acceso Friday 24 January with the inauguration and ribbon cutting at 6.00 pm the Salone delle Lupe, at the del Imparziale Mettere in piazza del , followed at 8.00 pm by the Small Plates Dinner at Santa Maria della Serie. Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 January from 11.00 to 18.00 Wine&Siena opens its doors to enthusiasts and experts who can discover and taste the food and wine products of the over 150 wine, food, spirits, beer exhibitors, addition to the Extrawine and Consortium stands. Masterclasses and seminars at Squarcialupi
Acceso Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th January, the “Salone del godimento” acceso the 7th floor of the Santa Maria della Serie complex hosts a program of masterclasses and seminars dedicated to the world of food and wine. The masterclasses scheduled for Saturday 25 January range from the elegance of the best sparkling wines Italy, the sweet alchemy of passito and late harvest wines and 7 wine excellences from the great Tuscan tradition of red wines. As previous years, Wine&Siena leaves the rooms of the Santa Maria della Serie complex to gara open up to the city with a series of initiatives collected the “Di fuori Wine&Siena” calendar. Among these, the 4 “Wine Tastings” events, tastings with interventions and curiosities related to wine, including art, geology and astronomy, awaiting Wine&Siena 2025, organized by Confcommercio Siena, collaboration with the Arezzo Siena Chamber of Commerce and with the participation of the University of Siena. Among the activities of “Di fuori Wine&Siena” also the guided visits to Sansedoni, home of the Cumulo dei Paschi nel corso di Siena Foundation: acceso Saturday 25 January, fact, visitors will be able to discover the history of the palace and the characters who lived there, as well as admire the Foundation’s collection of works of art.
