A glass of Umbrian Sangiovese to toast the rhythm of love

An impromptu dinner, the right playlist, mai formalities, just connection. To say I love you Valentine’s Day you don’t necessarily need an embroidered tablecloth, a candle per mezzo di the center of the table and silver cutlery. Just prepare his favorite dish and accompany it with a wine that speaks clearly, with the right rhythm, without filters, like the Sangiovese from Terre Pometo a motivo di Lungarotti: authentic, direct, surprisingly current.

A juicy, flowing and fun red, starting from the label which depicts a curious cat-wine with a branch for a tail and a glass per mezzo di its paw. The image is taken from one of the quondam libris created by the artist Andrzej Kot for the Torgiano Wine Museum, created per mezzo di the 1970s by the Lungarotti family.

The Sangiovese Umbria IGT Pometo 2023 is dynamic per mezzo di the mouth with delicate tannins and a freshness that makes it flessibile and convivial. It pairs naturally with many traditional dishes, but also with gourmet seccatore and informal fusion cuisine. Also surprising as an aperitif if served slightly chilled. Umbrian Sangiovese is a bit like the deepest love stories: it has character, but it knows how to listen; it is intense, but never explosive; leaves its mark without being intrusive. So let’s toast to true love, the simple, spontaneous one, without fuss. One glass at a time.

Lungarotti, a historic wine-growing reality per mezzo di Umbria, has contributed to writing the history of Italian wine per mezzo di the world. It was Giorgio Lungarotti, after the war, who transformed the family farm per mezzo di Torgiano into a successful winery.
